Our Gameweek 25 Result
Despite a couple of clean sheets, and a few goals further forward we still attracted a red arrow, having had three greens in a row. Albeit a small one, which likely wouldn’t have happened had we not switched the armband off of Haaland. Fancy captaining a defender… madness!

We have 0.5 in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of DGW26. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW26 Transfer(s)

The D of the GW is the big clue here. And we only have two Arsenal. So that was obviously going to change. The ideal is Saliba to partner Gabriel but funds are an issue. Fortunately Szoboszlai did us a solid with his red, and an excuse to raise said funds.

A Wolves mid was suggested but which one and why seemed pertinent enough questions to dismiss that notion. Out of the other mids at that price point Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall stood out to us. Yours truly saw first hand the impact he had on his team last week vs Leeds and it was enough to push this one through the committee.

To confirm then we have SOLD Thiaw and Szoboszlai and BOUGHT Saliba and Dewsbury-Hall

Captain – Gabriel!
Yep, we’ve done it again! But with the two games and likely clean-sheets this one makes a tad more sense than the last one.

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

  1. G’day everyone, looking to hear some thoughts on this move I’m about to do –

    Cunha + Dorgu > Sarr + Calafiori

Aware Calafiori is a punt but I’m willing to do it. Cunha could be ok against Westham but the hammers have looked a lot better recently and Sarr is a player you get now or miss until the blank.

  2. Not a fan of the Calafiori, don’t like the risk to reward of tripple Arsenal defence. Also Calafiori is locked in to start both games.

Boring but Cunha to Rice or another Arsenal mid would be my call.

Dorgu to a Chris Richards maybe, good for the next 2 games.

    • I don’t really like the Arsenal midfield to be honest. Rice seems less attacking with Havertz back in the team but I’ve been wrong plenty of times before. I didn’t go rice recently and he’s been repaying me with blanks.

      • Go with your gut, or what feels fun.

Outside the box with 1% ownership but Martinelli.hed have to start one you think

        • Yeah who knows completely in the end hey. Appreciate your comment mate, thanks!
