Have we finally found a bit of form at just the right time? Gameweek 33 blessed us with a not unreasonable 82 points, which was well above the average and lifted us to 1,391,219 overall – putting up FOUR consecutive green arrows in the process – and to a place which is our highest rank since Gameweek 6 – wow, that last stat is very scary.

Anyway, an already-successful Assistant Manager chip was supplemented with 18 points from Pep Guardiola this week and with his new striker Omar Marmoush only putting up 4 points across 180 minutes and Josko Gvardiol (7) (a clean sheet one game and booked the next), we’re not sure how we feel about Manchester City in all honesty so we’ll move on quickly.

Jakub Kiwior was our top point earner – Superb! 13 points for the Pole and he was followed by JP Mateta (10) and David Raya and the aforementioned Gvardiol with 7 a piece. Not much on the bench either which suggests we at least got those calls correct.

In fact, upon closer inspection, we would have been toast without Pep and Kiwior. But it’s all about the points on the board regardless where they come from.

FREE HIT CHIP

Has to be, we would have been playing doubles otherwise such was the decimation in our team due to the fixture list. We had planned for this though so the FH was always earmarked.

Yours truly asked all the boys to pick two different players each and I would fill in the rest. If only we could Free Hit every week, oh what a wonderful world! The choices will not (YET!) be a matter of public record but on paper, we all agree we love it.
