We’ve officially reached the point in the season where most of us are just counting down the days, glad it’s all over. The site team probably hit that point along time ago!
So, here we are, two game weeks to go, not a lot to play for. We have comfortably locked in our worst ever rank, topping the 297,085 overall rank of the 2022/23 season to tune of 1,000,224 as things stand. So yeah, end it now please!
Of course, we’re not that upset, these seasons happen occasionally. Sure, it’s nice to have a good season, but without the bad seasons, how can you truly appreciate the good ones? Well, that’s the theory and I’m sticking to it!
Game week 36 was actually a good one for us, a green arrow taking us from 1,323,299 to the aforementioned 1,297,309.
We rolled out an unconventional 433, and other that Nico Williams (1pt), our defence did us proud with 30 of our 51pts coming from our backline. Just as well really, other than captain Mbeumo (12pts) it was a series of 1 and 2-pointers. Shameful really. Shrugs shoulders.

This week it’s all about damage limitation. The highest transferred-in player this week is Ollie Watkins (303,241), with more than double the transfers-in of second placed Eze (141,577).
With no standout captaincy candidates, many are looking to the Villian’s number 11 and we’re in no position to argue with the masses so when in doubt, follow the crowd. We will also be handing the armband to Ollie – you have been warned!

Hey GP – and the rest of the community. Lovely to be in contact again for these remaining 2 weekends of fun-filled fantasy! Hey I was just thinking that I might be actually inspired by the site team to rename my own as ‘AJW’s Shite Team’! Or maybe this won’t get past the mods and I’ll just use the redacted version of ‘AJW’s S***e Team’! (This could then be interpreted as meaning AJW’s Same Team/Sake Team or Smile Team, especially if one does not count the asterisks!). But surely I jest? Well, after spending half the year hovering between 800k and 1.1m spots, I am now reaching the veritable ‘Heights related nose bleed’ territory of the mid 500k ranks! Onwards and upwards I say!

My team. I got 2 FT’s. Was thinking about Marmoush to Watkins and Isak to Vardy. Next week I want Saka. But you guys reckon Marmoush will start?

Hi all,
I’m thinking of getting rid of Marmoush for Wood. I see that’s the topic of the day. After his 6 min cameo last week I’m not expecting a hail so it’s taxi for him.
My predicament is I have 2FT and BB.
So do I do just that one transfer (Marmoush out) and then have 2FT and BB for the last game, OR do I just go all out now?
Then the question is who else goes? Nico Williams to Cucurella? Or Kiwior? Or something else.

I sort of did a crazy one. Nothing really to play for anymore, already have a decent team. I gave Vardy the chance to shine one more time for me. His last match. He won’t play in gw38.

Hey CC – you must play FPL like those squirrels at Kensington Palace – storing up all your trades and Bench boosts and stuff for a rainy day. What amazing self-control! It only seems fitting to get a bit of Chelsea into your BB team, so why not Cucurella? How much cash ITB (probably loads!
) ?
Anyway, I dunno if Pep wasn’t planning to play 2 strikers – in which cas it could be like Pinball in the Bournemouth goal area – always a chance of booting one in I suppose. I really don’t know too much, as I have an eye on the NRL comp atm (Aussie rugby league – sorry, I was brought up with it!), so maybe my advice isn’t as relevant as other people’s.
