One giant leap for Gameweek 2, one drunken backward one for 3…..

Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 4

After the highs of a morale-boosting Triple Captain success on Erling Haaland in Gameweek 2, we failed to use that as an early launchpad for our season as pre-international break we mustered a measly 62 points, which was two short of the weekly average and a bump back down to outside of the top 2 million overall.

We should have stuck with Haaland for the captaincy but his hat-trick was most welcome regardless. Cole Palmer (C) led the team with 12 points – hardly a blank but hardly a success. A brace of assists from Ollie Watkins (5) and Antonee Robinson (4) were the only other notable points aside from the Ebe Eze (10) season-opener for him.

Been a rocky start to the season. On the plus side though, we must remember we have nailed our TC chip and it is early days.

Rank 2,181,429 we are.

We move.

Our Gameweek 3 Result

We have £1.0mln in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of Gameweek 4. Let’s go see what was decided.

Our Gameweek 4 Transfer(s)

Once the injury doubts around Cole Palmer and Ollie Watkins were either not mentioned (former) or confirmed by his manager as “available” (latter), we realised that we were quite happy with our team and squad (at least until the wildcard BARCO!) therefore we will roll this week’s transfer and review again ahead of Gameweek 5. Boring and precictable old FF247 – the only thing missing is the decent rank!

To confirm then we have HELD OUR FREE TRANSFER

Captain – ERLING HAALAND

We’ve seen the sad news regarding Haaland’s personal circumstance but we feel that taking the Captain away from him could be a little bit towards overthinking. We believe he’ll start or won’t play …. and we think he’ll start.

Cole Palmer for the break glass in emergency instance (who is also fine).

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

I’d swap faes to 1st on the bench. He might score from a conor. Winks most likely won’t.

    The rest is grand
