FF247 Site Team Gameweek 4
One giant leap for Gameweek 2, one drunken backward one for 3…..
Welcome to FF247 Site Team Gameweek 4
After the highs of a morale-boosting Triple Captain success on Erling Haaland in Gameweek 2, we failed to use that as an early launchpad for our season as pre-international break we mustered a measly 62 points, which was two short of the weekly average and a bump back down to outside of the top 2 million overall.
We should have stuck with Haaland for the captaincy but his hat-trick was most welcome regardless. Cole Palmer (C) led the team with 12 points – hardly a blank but hardly a success. A brace of assists from Ollie Watkins (5) and Antonee Robinson (4) were the only other notable points aside from the Ebe Eze (10) season-opener for him.
Been a rocky start to the season. On the plus side though, we must remember we have nailed our TC chip and it is early days.
Rank 2,181,429 we are.
We move.
Our Gameweek 3 Result
We have £1.0mln in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of Gameweek 4. Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Gameweek 4 Transfer(s)
Once the injury doubts around Cole Palmer and Ollie Watkins were either not mentioned (former) or confirmed by his manager as “available” (latter), we realised that we were quite happy with our team and squad (at least until the wildcard BARCO!) therefore we will roll this week’s transfer and review again ahead of Gameweek 5. Boring and precictable old FF247 – the only thing missing is the decent rank!
To confirm then we have HELD OUR FREE TRANSFER
Captain – ERLING HAALAND
We’ve seen the sad news regarding Haaland’s personal circumstance but we feel that taking the Captain away from him could be a little bit towards overthinking. We believe he’ll start or won’t play …. and we think he’ll start.
Cole Palmer for the break glass in emergency instance (who is also fine).

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Both leagues will be shut to new entrants as of 01/01/25.
So is anybody going to bother setting Haaland as Capt or is is better to go Salah
I have both and am more tempted to go with Salah.
Think that may be the better bet
I went not Haaland last week and it hurt.
I’m going Haaland C and Salah VC
I have it on haaland. Salah is vc.
Going with this.

Looks great. Can we swap teams?
Evening everyone! How am I set? 1FT with 0.5 spare. Zirkzee was a placeholder until Solanke was back but not sure if this is the week to make that move.

Looks good Igy.
Just slightly concerned that your captain and vice captain are both yellow flagged (although I think Palmer will be fine).
Jamie
Tend to agree with Jamie.
Haaland will either play 90 or not at all.
Palmer should be fine with 2 weeks rest. But I’d just worry
Thanks guys! I’ve changed the VC to Jota just in case!
Roll it. Looks really good to me
Left or Right guys ?

Left – for the moment.
Robertson is looking an equal to Trent.
Therefore Diaz v Szoboszlai goes to Diaz for me.
Thanks GP
Left. As GP says its Diaz over Szobo. Unless Slot starts playing Gakpo or Darwin I think Diaz is no.1 choice.
Gordon or Madu in play?

Gordon. Nice looking team
Cheers Matt, will stick with Gordon.
Hey guys. Didn’t have Haaland and it was killing me.
So, the WC is active. How does the team look? Any suggestions here? Cheers all

Few things I’m not sure on there. The double Brighton attackers may be too much. Onana could be good but I’m not sure if he’ll keep up this form. The next 3 games are amazing though so worth a punt.
Thanks Matt. No one else is fitting that price bracket other than the two Brighton forwards. Thier fixtures are decent too. So, taking a punt here. Same for Onana. Might change both after GW7
That is fair. Guessing 5.7 is as high as you could go? You could swap on to Wissa in about 2 weeks aswell
That’s a good option. Decent games till GW13
Should set you up well and himself and Mbeumo have a good partnership
