Our Gameweek 5 Result
Okay so things aren’t exactly going great this season. We are doing the correct decisions with the benching as we aren’t leaving massive hauls on the bench but that is mainly because the bench isn’t scoring any points anyway!
In fact, we didn’t have a single point on our bench this week with all four getting big fat ZEROS! Bergvall was on the bench but because of Diogo Jota’s no-show against Bournemouth, Bergvall came in with his 1 point.
He joined the other 4 players in our squad who got 2 points or less, Eze just snuck ahead of that group with 3 points thanks to his clean sheet. 4 players returned with a goal a piece so that’s nice… I suppose!
What is really killing us this season is the captaincy, since playing our TC in GW2 – and SMASHING IT! – things aren’t good viewing. Our captain has been outscored twice and matched once. We will be looking to rectify that this week and every other week in the future.
We finished on 52 points this week which was well below the average of 58. This saw a red arrow of about 800k dropping us to 2,873,770. Not Great!
We have 1.1 in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of GW6. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW6 Transfer(s)
We weren’t sure what to do with our team this week but the wildcard was never mentioned. We have no major injuries, 11 players who should play, two who should make an appearance at the least and one waste of space – still looking at you, ValentÃn!
We all agreed there was a distinct lack of Arsenal and Mbeumo but we couldn’t really see an obvious and easy switch without too much hassle. A call to roll and hope for a bit of luck was even out forward!
A vote was needed to decide, very different opinions with 5 options and it started with no unanimous decision but a quick tidal change came and Mbeumo and Arsenal cover was chosen. We only really had one avenue to use and that was Jota and Robinson out with Mbeumo and Saliba coming in.
To confirm then we have SOLD Diogo Jota and Robinson and BOUGHT Mbeumo and Saliba
Not debate here as Haaland swept to victory for the armband vote.
Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Should I do:
Jota/Bowen->Diaz, and
Isak->Havertz for a 4ph?

Isak to Havertz is enough. Wouldn’t bother with the other move. Feels sideways. Jota might play
My only worry is that the ML leader has Diaz (although the Jota double midweek will hopefully get him a start this week)
Yeah but if you go to Diaz you’ve already given your ML rival a 4 point advantage no matter what Diaz does. I’d just hope he does nothing. Think Jota might get a start with him being taken off earlier than Darwin
I think Jota will start, I’d stick there and just do the other move
Hi all,
Think this is what I’m going with for GW6.
Good to go?

Looks good to me mate
Looks G2G for me too
Think I am G2G here.
Do I start Robertson or Pau?
I have 2.6m itb but no ft. Anything worth a -4.
Welbeck to Havertz maybe?

I just spent a while trying to see Robertson but couldn’t
As you have it I think
Sorry Gear
Robinson* my bad
Hi all, is Jota to Diaz a sideways move? Jota a minutes risk and Diaz was fully rested mid week.
After his mid-week performance I would expect Jota to start
i have noticed Diaz gets subbed out after about 65mins most games. Is this a fitness thing of is it always going to be a tactic they use?
ooops i forgot to have any Arsenal players.
interested to know why the team went Saliba ahead of Gabriel? was it just the 0.1 price?
