Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups DGW34.

Heroes and villains

Last week we lamented the glut of 2-point returns that made up our score, and this week is no different. 7 of our 11 returned a 2-pointer, and 2 managed just the one. Indeed, in a week where only Tyrone Mings (15pts) and captain Earling Haaland were the only 2 players to actually pick up anything, we were lucky that our red arrow was not a whole lot worse. Our transfer of Kane to Haaland paid off (sort of) 28pts for our captain, but to see Kane pick up 11pts was a difficult pill to swallow, we were not alone, with over 500k managers also parting ways with the Spurs talisman. Ouch.

Things could have been so much better. We started Kepa (1pt) benched Raya (9pts) Started Botman (2pts) benched Mee (6pts) started Mitoma (2pts) benched March (5pts). That’s 5pts vs a potential 20pts. Ouch again. Our 59pts was 4 more than the 55pt average, but not enough to prevent a second successive red arrow; 146,972 down to 157, 806. We move… in the wrong direction.

Our GW33 Result…

We have £0.3 in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW34. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW34 Transfer(s)

As planned we have played our Free Hit chip. Our starting 11 actually looked pretty decent, but the opportunity to take our double-game week player quota up a notch seems like too good an opportunity to miss.

Other than the highly owned Trippier (who plays bottom of the table Southampton) we’re going with an ‘all in’ approach, trippling up on Liverpool and City with the Man Utd and Brighton double making up our 11. Trent and Salah need no explanation, Jota whilst a minutes risk is our high ceiling hit and hope, and we just have to cross our fingers that he continues to get the starts, or at least enough minutes over the two to make a difference. With City we have opted to go with Grealish purely down to financial restrictions, and in goal we go with ‘steady eddy’, boring? maybe, but we’ll take the least risky way into a City backline that changes like the weather. The Brighton Mids March and Mitoma make up a midfield 5 that if nothing else looks aesthetically pleasing.

Our bench is made up with what we can afford given our meagre budget and the cost of our first 11. Whilst Solanke may not have a double, the Cherries front man is in form and plays Leeds at home, who needs a double right? Lindeloff is our first back-up defender, at just £4.1m he is a cheap way into the Man Utd defence should we need him, and finally Zouma (£4.4m) sits last on our bench, hopefully we’ll not need him and he can take some much needed time to think about the bad choices he’s made in life.

To confirm then we have played our Free Hit

Captain – Haaland

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News

Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.

As a quick reminder –

There are two versions of this article.

The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc.

The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.

You can access our live feed to these here.

Double-game week fever is in full flow as we go with an all-in strategy and hope we can reverse some of the bad luck/choices we seem to have had in recent weeks!
Good luck for the game week to each and every one of you!

Thinking mee and saka to taa and salah. Would also need to take a hit to sell kane to make funds for those moves. 1st issue with that it would mean I would have estupinian shaw and trent then would prob have to bench trippier which I don’t like. Might I be better off selling estupinian even though he has a double. Then who would the best striker be to pick for 7.1m. Jota? Isak?

    Hey All,

What do you think the best combination at the back is on a FH team with 3 defs?

Already have TAA so him with:-

    A) Ederson/Lindelof/Estu (or Dunk)
    B ) Steele/Akanji/Shaw
    C) Steele/Lindelof/Dias

    any thoughts?

    cheers

Have 2fts itb and 2.1 itb
    Which option is best

    1) saka to rashford and Watkins to jota
    2) Kane to jota and saka to salah
    3) something else

My rival has rashford so wondering is he better to have or not ?

    Cheers

    Thanks all
