FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Double Gameweek 34
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Double Gameweek 34
One of those weeks again where we don’t know whether to puff out our cheeks in boredom or lift our eyebrows in a mood of optimism and calculated realism for the end of season run-in.
So much as to say we scored above the average for the week – 66 for us, which is above the 61 benchmark – but we show a red arrow for the week and land at 167,149 overall for the time being.
The GIF of Larry David from Curb Your Enthusiasm swithering would be inserted here were your author more tech savvy.
Martin Dubravka of Newcastle is our man in-between the posts and has posted 7 then 8 in his last two weeks which is welcome and worthy of a little mention.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joao Cancelo – as mentioned last week in the 2-2 review – just produce points. Two sixes from them again form the base of a very reliable stream of backline points.
We had Mohamed Salah but not as captain and the 19 points are *sighs*, well, 19 points aren’t they? Bukayo Saka and his performance at Chelsea hauled a lovely little 10-pointer for the team.
James Ward-Prowse‘s double gameweek (and that of his Saints striking compadre Armando Broja) produced the baseline 5 points (Broja 3) ….
Ivan Toney scored 1 and captain Harry Kane got 4 so this review certainly fizzled out didn’t it?
Onwards!
Our Gameweek 33 Result…
We have £2.0mln in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of Double Gameweek 34. We also retain all three regular chips – Bench Boost, Triple Captain and Free Hit. Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Double Gameweek 34 Transfer(s)
With two free transfers in hand and Chelsea having a double, one of which is against United (sorry not sorry), we felt the need to dip into the transfer market for at least one of the boys in blue.
Mount was the most fancied of the midfielders and when it was proposed that Alonso fitted within budget for Conor Coady as well, it was very quickly voted through. We now have two very attacking players from a Chelsea side with the immediate double and a handy run of nice fixtures to end the season – including another Double Gameweek in 36 – so we view these as a nice investment.
To confirm then we have SOLD CONOR COADY & JAMES WARD-PROWSE and BOUGHT MARCOS ALONSO & MASON MOUNT
TRIPLE Captain – MASON MOUNT
With us now at Gameweek 34 and having three chips in hand, we are getting close to ‘use them or lose them’ territory.
When it was suggested by an anonymous member of our team (we won’t disclose his full name but we’ll asterisk out some of it – K*P) that we could have a go on one of the Chelsea boys as Triple Captain it didn’t seem that bad an idea at all and was quickly supported by another two members of committee and we therefore offer Mason Mount the Armband-x-3.
It’s West Ham at home then Manchester United away for our triple captain. On paper, it’s not shooting fish in a barrel by any means but Chelsea should feel confident on handling each of them fairly easily on their best form. Sure it’s a little risky but all Triple Captaincy choices are to an extent.
Mohamed Salah – on any other week a great captaincy choice – will wear the vice in case Mount falls down the stairs and misses the lot.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.
You can access our live feed to these here.

Who’s more likely to get 180 minutes? Mount or James? Tempted by a James cappo.
Neither should really – Mount has a lot of minutes played and James really still coming back from injury.
Given the injuries , I’d say James
Hard captain choice this week. Torn on havertz and salah
I left Salah off my FH team last week and picked Fernandes as captain. It still hurts
Good morning guys.
I have decided to play the WC now with one eye on bench boosting GW 36. Are there players that I can include in my team to improve it for the next three game weeks? I have 0.7 itb. Thanks in advance.
Not so keen on Leicester players pick as they don’t have much to play for in the league. Surely their focus would be staying injury free before next week’s semifinal against Roma. Would rather upgrade mitchell to Laporte and downgrade Rodrigo
Thanks.Sound advice
Keep going backwards and forwards with captain between Salah and mount. Leading my ml by about 50 points trying to figure out who rival might captain. His only way to get mount is by selling son which I have a feeling he might do and then caption him which will be stressful for me if i dont caption mount. Might be overthinking it but can’t decide
I always think you’ve just got to play your own game and not worry about rivals
I am set?
Maybe Mateta in for Weghorst? Rest looks superb. Good luck!
Hi guys, on a WC with BB intended for dgw 36.
Most of my team is decided. I really want KdB but can’t seen to fit him in w/o selling Salah. Kept tinkering till I found this fit.
Sell Saka for KdB & Matip to Kelly (3.8). Plan is to sell Havertz in either 35 or 36 & get Saka back, use the second FT to upgrade Kelly to a 5m defender.
Does this sound good? Of course I might have to make another transfer if Nketiah doesn’t keep playing but I like the upside of KDB for the rest of the szn.
Thoughts would be appreciated.
James and Kelly to Alonso + Emerson? Will leave you set for gw36 BB. Not really a fan of preset transfers for the reason you mentioned
Fine with the moves I did tbh, everyone in my team apart from these 2 & Nketiah are a lock. 2FT & if needed a hit should do the trick.
I’m expecting KdB to go nuts in the coming games
