Kepa Arrizabalaga (10), Harry Kane (8) and the Reds Devils triumvirate of Luke Shaw (6), Bruno Fernandes (12) and Marcus Rashford (60) – he who took our Triple Captain honours this week – gave us a grand overall total of 104 for the gameweek. Considering the rest were 2s and 1s, we’ll have that.
Kieran Trippier scored one of those ‘2’s so we assume there is a glitch somewhere in the system and we’ve contacted FPL about it.
A continued rise, this time a biggie of nearly 400k to more than halve our rank to a more respectable 326,036th
See, we do know what we’re doing, it just takes us longer to get there these days in our old(er) age! Let’s keep it going.

Having just the two Manchester City assets obviously meant they were the favourite place to target ahead of their DGW. And with Almiron regressing in his points and with City themselves, Liverpool and a blank ahead, he was the sacrificial lamb. We have gone for arguably the most explosive of the City assets in midfield in Riyad Mahrez and he comes in with Villa and Arsenal ahead. Go well sweet Algerian!
To confirm then we have SOLD MIGUEL ALMIRON and BOUGHT RIYAD MAHREZ
Captain – Erling Braut Haaland
Seemed quite an obivous pick seeing as he has two bites of the cherry. The recent hat trick against Wolves and obvious reminder of what he can do – especially in home matches.

I’m looking to bring in a defender this week, will most likely sit on the bench in GW23 (although could sub in for Schar). Budget is 5.7m. Which option below do you prefer?
Akanji, Badiashile, James, Kilman, Tarkowski.

What can i do?
if i go -4, i would do:
Shaw->Dawson, and Kulu->Saka
Or
Should I use the FT and do Kulu->Odegaard
or
Roll the FT
Captain Haaland this week though.
I would probably push on double button: Kulu, Dunk ->> Odegaard, Ake/Akanji.
those are good options mid-priced.
Would Saka not be better, even if I cannot get a city 3rd player?
Saka is good option, but Odegaard frees up money to spend for GW25 doubles.

Mid-priced – yours are good, but as dgw27 has been anounced, need to keep Dunk I think.
or is rolling the FT better and having 2 next week… just Saka worries me, especially that Martinelli might not play many in both games.
Those of you who still have a TC chip… Do you use it on Haaland this week or wait for a DGW later on??
I think it’s the last realistic chance to get something substantial from a TC. Later on there will be too many disruptions and rotations due to the UCL and the rest. Could be wrong , but that what I would have done if didn’t use it on Rash last week.
I am using it on Haaland this week, don’t want to worry more about possible rotations in future with the Champs League and all.

I am in the same boat, but I am Martinelli. I can get Odegaard, but I have a differential in Kulu.
having 2FT next week might help towards gw25 and the dgw27.

Perhaps Almiron to Mahrez. An extra game this week and Mahrez may get some minutes in 25.
