FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 23
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 23
Thank the lord above (or whoever you pray to) for three things – Kepa, Kane and Manchester United.
Kepa Arrizabalaga (10), Harry Kane (8) and the Reds Devils triumvirate of Luke Shaw (6), Bruno Fernandes (12) and Marcus Rashford (60) – he who took our Triple Captain honours this week – gave us a grand overall total of 104 for the gameweek. Considering the rest were 2s and 1s, we’ll have that.
Kieran Trippier scored one of those ‘2’s so we assume there is a glitch somewhere in the system and we’ve contacted FPL about it.
A continued rise, this time a biggie of nearly 400k to more than halve our rank to a more respectable 326,036th
See, we do know what we’re doing, it just takes us longer to get there these days in our old(er) age! Let’s keep it going.
Our Gameweek 22 Result
We have £4.2mln in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of Gameweek 23. Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Gameweek 23 Transfer(s)
Having just the two Manchester City assets obviously meant they were the favourite place to target ahead of their DGW. And with Almiron regressing in his points and with City themselves, Liverpool and a blank ahead, he was the sacrificial lamb. We have gone for arguably the most explosive of the City assets in midfield in Riyad Mahrez and he comes in with Villa and Arsenal ahead. Go well sweet Algerian!
To confirm then we have SOLD MIGUEL ALMIRON and BOUGHT RIYAD MAHREZ
Captain – Erling Braut Haaland
Seemed quite an obivous pick seeing as he has two bites of the cherry. The recent hat trick against Wolves and obvious reminder of what he can do – especially in home matches.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.
You can access our live feed to these here.

Looks good here? I haven’t used my triple captain yet. We have some better doubles coming up don’t we?
not sure about Andreas as last sub
I asked the TC question yesterday and the consensus seemed to be to use it now cos of champions league related rotation risks later in the season
I’m contemplating a Salah TC for their double. Mostly because I’m a fair bit behind, want pool to turn good and I meed something that can turn the tide a bit
The more sensible move is probably TC Haaland – this’ll be a last minute call
Hey Dane, you haven’t gone back to your arsonist ways now, have you?
The whole place is on fire!
You can see for yourself on #23
That’s an interesting call. Doesn’t Mo love playing Palace too?
In theory yes! But both are a different beast this season – unfortunately
Very good point OD. Salah is very tempting, been thinking The same. There is still a fact to remember:
If LIV scores 6, Salah gets 1 goal 1 assist.
When MCI scores 6, Haaland gets 3 goals.
No harikiri allowed on this site
You can’t compare Salah v Haaland this season for triple captain it’s like Aguero v Agbonlahor (spelling probably off like he used to) in their prime!
that’s fair
Hi everyone
Am I gtg ? Just wondering if I’ve got the bench correct?
Cheers
I would have Botman as 1st sub. Think he has a very good CS potential.
+1
You probably won’t need it, but maybe Botman/Andreas first on bench. Looks good either way
Personally I would swap botman and Cucurella, having a player from a team with the best defensive record last seems criminal
Replying to 20*
Cheers Rogue
Think I am g2g here, have had TC on and off a few times. Its a head says no heart says yes!
With CL back soon am I wise just to use it now? I think city will score in both games too
Worth a shot I’d say – haven’t decided myself either tbh. Looks solid either way!
I think it’s as good as time as any to play it
Good morning folks! This lot needs a bit of change. 2FTs and 1.0 in the piggy bank. Ideas?
Darwin and Akanji for Toney and Shaw/Perisic is a thought
Maybe wait till after the LIV game to decide on the more miss than hit Darwin? Akanji fine.
Yeah I can see where you’re coming, but he keeps getting the chances – big ones too – So at some point I think he’ll start getting good results. They should also double soon
I would just do the 1ft and go for a city defender. It’ll be good to have 2 transfers for planning after this week
Thanks Gear. Not keen on holding Toney against Arsenal and with a blank in the horizon he should probably go though. Could of course play New city def+Perisic and bench him I guess – good point
Maybe Perisic -> Ake?
Yeah also decent. Shaw has a blank week coming up though and probably can’t keep the CS
Start Bruno or Mitro? More upside to MU?
See your first comment
Thanks OD.
Bruno
Bruno you can’t be benching nearly 10m
