FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups GW24
Shaw looks bad to me
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups GW24. With a score of 68pts and 2pts above the average, you would hope for a green arrow. Sadly it was not meant to be. A red arrow and our meteoric rise in GW22 is long forgotten as we slip from 326,036 down to 434,354 thanks in part to our poor team selection.
We were not alone in benching Luke Shaw and his 12pts instead favouring our double-game week defenders Ake and White. Sadly for us, both turned into pretty much single-game week players and their grand total of 6pts makes the benching of Shaw feel a whole lot worse. Ouch. We fared better elsewhere with new man Mahrez picking up 14pts although it should be noted the departed Almiron did manage 10pts, but 4pts is 4pts so we’ll take it. Nketiah and Martinelli grabbed 6pts and 5pts respectively but with the highly-owned Saka finishing the double with 15pts it feels like we could have done better. A tidy 20pts for captain Haaland meant very little, Rashford got a nice 8pts but again didn’t do us a whole lot of good and it was blanks for Kane, Kepa and Bruno F. Meh. We move on!
Our GW23 Result…
We have £2.2 in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of GW24. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW24 Transfer(s)
With one eye on the blank and double GW25, we assessed our squad and decided we look in fairly good shape to navigate that one, potentially no need for points hits either. So that’s good. Our team also looked fairly well equipped for the coming game week (famous last words!) but with 2FT we ‘have’ to do something. So, it’s goodbye to Martinelli who hasn’t done a great deal of late and has become something of a minutes risk with Trossard looking more than more likely to eat into the Brazillian’s pitch-time. We’ve had to watch on in envy as Bukayo Saka plundered 15pts to Martinelli’s 5 in DGW23 and we decided enough was enough and made the luxury upgrade. We’ll roll our second which should give us a little more flex when it comes to DGW25.
To confirm then we have SOLD Gabriel Martinelli and BOUGHT Bukayo Saka
Captain – Haaland

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.
You can access our live feed to these here.

Is this as good time as any for my bench boost? The site predicts all my bench players starting. I find it’s the hardest chip to use usually.
My instinct is that you should aim higher than Bueno and Ferguson for it personally.
If you haven’t used your 2nd wc then I would wait till after it and set up your bench boost better
Any suggestions? 1FT 0.1ITB
I think you could roll that – I know Martinelli is becoming an issue but maybe not just yet. And having two moves for next week is always a good idea generally.
Easy roll for me and you have bench cover so 2 for the double next gw gives you options
All
What should I do with this lot?
1 FT & 0ITB – happy to take a hit!
Same as above Mitro, you could roll that.
What had you in mind?
At the start of the week I was thinking felix and Mitoma for mitrovic and martinelli.
Nice moves but not completely necessary this.
With no money in the bank it’s difficult to pick a transfer for this gw, Id put Bueno ahead of botman on bench or even ahead of white
I know, happy to do a -4
You would get more bang for your buck in the dgw
Taking in consideration that City will travel to Leipzig on Wednesday there is a high possibility Haaland to start off the bench or benched early. Kane has a good record vs WHU with 11 goals and 4 assists which makes him a solid C candidate.
Anyway, should I play Bueno over White or leave as is is?
Yes I would as better chance of wolves cs, why bench Trippier you might as well move him on?
Decided, Bueno over White
Leave as is I reckon, Ivan aka Harbinger of Doom
Last time we thought he may come off early he did so having already got 3
Yes Init, but lighting doesn’t strike twice, or is it
I will see if FOMO will force me again at 5 to 11 tomorrow morning
Start white AVL (A) or tarkowski LEE (H)?
Coin toss. Latter looks like he has a goal in him though.
Hi everyone – not sure what to do transfer-wise. 1FT and 1m ITB.
Thoughts appreciated.
Mitro to Felix?
And maybe Rash capo over Haa??
CC
Doh wrong team posted!
Making a right pigs ear of this … sorry.
CC, Felix is a good option, Chelski do have a good run of fixtures and i think Mitro has been playing with an injury. I assume the 1st pick is your doubles team.
As for cappo, i think Haaland is the number 1 choice. Rashford could be a good option but United had a trip to Barca midweek, a few tired legs ?
Thanks Elle!
Tee hee, yep that was my doubles team
