FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 26
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 26
Bruno – Let’s be Frank
Like all brilliant players (overrated he may be by some!), you just have to stick with them and thankfully, we did! Captain Fernandes pushed aside a poor opening show in part one of the double gameweek in the 1-1 draw with Southampton, to score in the 97th minute on Tuesday to secure United’s 2-0 win against Brighton. His goal, the clean sheet and three bonus points (setting aside his yellow card), was the perfect response and meant that we were rewarded with 24 points for our DGW captain. Noice!
Overall the average was 47 points and the FF247 boys notched 81, cracked the top 100k and rest comfortably at 75,917. Double noice!
Cheers to Jarrod Bowen (13), to Cristiano Ronaldo (10), to Robert Sanchez, Diogo Dalot and Phil Foden (all 8) & Trent Alexander-Arnold (6).
Jeers to Ben Davies, Diogo Jota, Emmanuel Dennis & Jean Philippe Mateta – all registered a single point.
Can’t all be brilliant we suppose…
Our Gameweek 25 Result…
We have £0.2mln in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of Gameweek 26.
We also have Bench Boost, Triple Captain, Free Hit and our second Wildcard to use.
Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Gameweek 26 Transfers
We approach the first big double gameweek of the season without Mohamed Salah so it was perhaps – subconciously or otherwise – always the plan to have two free transfers to bring in, with relative ease, the overwhelming favourite for the captain’s armband (more on that a little later).
With the spread of funds throughout our squad and a reluctance to sell Bruno after his latest performance, soemthing BIG had to give in order to get Mo in. We have to say goodbye to Phil Foden (not ideal) and Cristiano Ronaldo (not ideal either) but big calls are required. That’s ‘calls’, not ….
AND THEN…..
Diogo Jota got injured. So a stay of execution for Foden, which is no hardship, and it becomes Liverpool for Liverpool in midfield.
So with Salah in, we had £7.9mln to spend on a replacement for CR7. Our preference was a DGW striker, someone who had scored in his last game (form) and has a decent ongoing run of fixtures.
Raul Jimenez of Wolves ticks all three boxes.
To confirm then we have SOLD DIOGO JOTA & CRISTIANO RONALDO and BOUGHT MOHAMED SALAH & RAUL JIMENEZ
***TRIPLE*** Captain – MOHAMED SALAH
As mentioned, we were likely always going to be captaining Salah, but with all chips in our pocket and two plum home matches, now is the time to utilise the Triple Captain chip on the Egyptian Magician. Go well, our Mo!

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News Gameweek 26
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

Fantasy Football 247 League Codes:
Both leagues will be shut to new entrants as of 01/01/22.
Back to drawing board, all plans need to be revisited with 3 DGWs in 4 GWs now….and then a BGW in 30.
Well I going off the grid this weekend as it is a holiday weekend here in the states so this is my team. Took a -8 to get here so let’s hope this pays off. Good luck everyone!!! Do you think I have the bench order correct.
Yep
Yep, looks fine
Thanks init!
I’m slowly talking myself into a GW28 WC!
I really don’t understand the appeal. What would your team look like bud?
I’ve no idea what it will look like! However, I reckon I’ll only have about 1/2 players with doubles. By WC’ing in 28, I can set up for 28-30 and beyond, safe in the knowledge that I’ve got 2 FH’s left.
I get that, but what about using BB? I’m thinking maybe just FH one of them. Needs some thought
I’ve decided not to worry about BB! In previous seasons I’ve always tried to pack my bench with doublers for the BB and it’s never proved successful.
Yeah, but… how cool does it look???
Well, now that you mention it!
Isn’t 28 a load of weak doubles?
I was leaning towards a 29 WC just cos you’ve got better teams doubling to choose from.
I’m not sure about better teams in 29. Aside from Liverpool, but I’ll have them any way.
Tbh, I’ll probably have forgotten about this strategy by the time I wake up tomorrow!
-8 I was thinking that I have to TC Salah.
Big storms here. Will the games go ahead?
Are many of them being played in Holland this weekend?
Shrugs… Don’t know… We had two huge storms… My guess is they go up?
Four people died already, today.
We live close… So the two storms might have hit you or will hit you later.
Terrible hardship !!! TOT, BUR and NEW have said they will have to travel by coach instead of flying. But not looking like any games affected at the moment.
Tnx for the info Otieno.
Otieno, travel by bus is a common means of commute in this country and as of the latest reports, the storm is in now in mainland Europe, they have to deal with it. I think, all scheduled games will go ahead unless there are some last minute declared disasters.
For those that like it / use the Fixture Tracker has been updated (again!) accordingly…
It lives here https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/fantasy-football-fixture-tracker/ but can be found on every article.
