Hmmm… where to begin?! In fairness, there only one place to begin. Our TC, or should I say lack of TC. The eagle eyed amongst you may have spotted that we scored a miserable 88pts in GW26. How did we manage that when our TC, Salah, scored 84pts? Well, despite the graphic from last week’s article indicating that we had TC’d Salah, we somehow didn’t have Salah as TC. It gets worse, we didn’t even have Salah as our captain. No, that honour somehow fell to Trent! And who is to blame for this fiasco? We’re not prepared to throw that individual under the bus, but for now let’s just call him Sean Connery!

The average score last week was 84pts but this counts for very little as those around us racked up scores of 130+. As a result, our arrow was a big red one and we now sit at 163,116.

Were there any positives? Salah’s 3 goals, an assist and 5 bonus points should have been a positive, but it turned into a kick in the teeth. 12pts from Bruno’s solitary game was probably the highlight of our gameweek. Goals from Dennis and Mateta went some way towards easing the pain. Our de facto captain played just once and the rest aren’t really worth talking about!

Let’s finish on a positive, at least we still have our TC chip left!!

We’ll cut to the chase here… we have played one of two FREE HIT chips. Time is of the essence so we won’t go into the whys and wherefores of each pick, most are self-explanatory. It is what it is and the team on its entirety is below (note the SAVE button in the pic!).

To confirm then we have SOLD (temporarily) LOADS OF PEOPLE and BOUGHT LOADS OF OTHER PEOPLE!

We like what we’ve seen of him so far and he has a DGW. Sometimes it doesn’t get much simpler than that.
