FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 33
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 33
After a rather disappointing week in Gameweek 31, we showed character, resolve and a couple of Spurs players to bounce back in style last week.
We thank hugely our captain Harry Kane (20) and Dejan Kulusevski (12) as they, with Raphinha (10) and our new signing Ivan Toney of Brentford, who arrived with a 12, combined to provide us with 73 points and an overall rank of 158,171.
On Sunday we had full backs Trent Alexander Arnold and Joao Cancelo in the game of the season and despite it finishing 2-2 and no clean sheets to be seen (or were ever likely to be seen in all honesty) they scored 4 and 5 respectively underlining just how valuable they are as attacking FPL players.
Whilst a glance at our bench shows Ben Davies with not only a 6 – but him being the clear blocker for us bringing in Son – and Martin Dubravka of Newcastle whose 7 is better than Ramsdale’s 1.
Can’t win ’em all.
Our Gameweek 32 Result…
We have £1.9mln in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of Gameweek 33 as well as all our chips (except Wildcard) in hand.
Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Gameweek 33 Transfer(s)
The first salvo on this was not massively promising; ‘I’m a bit stumped on transfers there’…
And so it remained for a couple of days. After which it wasn’t particularly clearer. We probably could have done with the odd ‘unfortunate’ injury in midweek to ease our decision making process but alas that was not to be either.
We’ve been in this situation a few times this season it seems, whereby we’ve had 2 free transfers and not much use for either. It really does make for a boring article though!
With Raphinha sans a game, and his price point plus our surplus cash offering up a few decent midfielers who have a DGW, we decided to go bold (for us anyway… yes, it’s all relative!) and grab one of those. The problem was that this would mean benching someone (Davies as it happens), but we’ll take that risk and live a little!
Maddison and Barnes seemed obvious candidates but with their midweek exploits last week and then next also we felt that there may be a hint of rotation. In the meantime some bright spark offered up Salah to the alter for sacrifice, with Bruno to be reborn in his image. We’d say that was dismissed out of hand but in all honesty it was largely just ignored!
The lightbuld moment, or at least a semi-sensible one that we could all agree on, came in the shape of JWP. Yes ok, Saints may have been mullered last week but lightning rarely strikes twice (at least not so soon, they tend to leave these hammerings about 12 months apart). He’s Mr Consistent in all aspects and has the added bonus of being the first name on their team sheet so at least we know he will actually play… (cue his first rest ever!).
To confirm then we have SOLD Raphinha and BOUGHT James Ward-Prowse
Captain – Kane
We have DGW options but none scream potential haul, certainly not as much as Kane does. We just hope he stops hauling so many assists and actually gets on the end of a few himself for once. Brighton will most likely be cuter than Villa and not leave themselves so exposed at the back which in turn means Kane will probably operate further forward in this one, as opposed to Son having the run of the place.
If he somehow fails to appear we are turning to tried and trusted in the shape of Salah.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News Gameweek 15
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

Good luck to the site team and everyone this week. Decided in the end to FH and to roll the dice on the DGW. What d’y a reckon?
On the way to Old Trafford – c’mon Bruno!
Nice team. Obvious risk with Bruno the way United are playing but then it’s all part of the fun of fpl sometimes the gambles pay off
If you can’t gamble on a DGW involving Norwich at home….
Not sure about that elderly lookin’ fellow, but most definitely start and cap’n that young champ! – star player that
Failing that then Bruno is the way to go
I might be tempted to put Wood in over ASM, on pens too
Chasing my ML leader, down 40 points. 2 FT.
Safe option: Doherty to White for another DGW. Roll spare FT.
Risky option: Above move plus Salah to Son for the long term. MLleader does not have Son but has Salah. I’m not interested in Bruno since his form is just as bad as Salah’s.
Ted, as you’re chasing you need to chase the DGWs as much as poss. That’s the time to make serious ground.
Personally I would do Doherty to Schar and roll the dice on Bruno (for Salah) but if you don’t want to do that maybe hold the other FT.
Guys any advice here please, 1ft and 0.3 itb.
Man U man, Salah to Bruno.
Would you sell Salah Cookie?
With both Pogba and Ronaldo in the team and the defensive midfielders being injured Max/Fred I’d prefer Salah. Bruno might have to drop deeper
It’s Norwich, get Bruno and captain him and have some fun. Can always get Salah back next week. Or Jota, or Manè.
True, why not.
Hey guys. How’s everyone doing?
Apologies for the absence lately. Been very busy with some personal issues.
That shows in my rankings.
Anyways. How does the FH team look? Any suggestions? Cheers all. 0.4 itb
On a FH think I’d downgrade Cancelo to get Son for Sancho. I don’t really get the Sancho love. He’s been poor and might not even get both games
+1
Could maybe be White + Son.
Thinking of a three player move here – any ideas? 2FTs, 0.1itb.
Schär, JWP and Wood is a thought (Will WC34/35). Though three Sou is not ideal.
Captain kane? Or go for a dgw player, jwp/saka
Of those three I think Kane would be my choice, marginal call though.
