FPL is live 2020
Welcome to FPL is live 2020/21
It’s time to set your team up, re-join leagues and get tinkering! Although it’s worth noting that the actual Premier League fixtures are still to be released and likely won’t be until after the Champions League and Europa League have completed.
For FPL the biggest change appears to be the deadline changing to 90mins before kick-off – seemingly in an attempt to combat those annoying and often false team leaks.
The Chips have remained the same as has the budget of 100mln.
The biggest changes seem to have come in player prices and in some cases, classification. Some of the more obvious changes at first glance are:
Players now classed as midfielders:
Aubameyang (Arsenal) – price 12.0mln
Greenwood (Man Utd) – price 7.5mln
Rashford (Man Utd) – price 9.5mln
Lundstram (Sheff Utd) – price 5.5mln
Players now classed as forwards:
Richarlison (Everton) – price 8.0mln
Martial (Man Utd) – price 9.0mln
Antonio (West Ham) – price 6.5mln
New players:
Midfielders:
Ziyech (Chelsea) – price 8.0mln
Forwards:
Werner (Chelsea) – price 9.5mln
Good luck with the tinkering and please post your thoughts, comments and plans on the chat below.

Maguire is one sh*** defender.
Defense surely is a problem but Rashford and Martial misfiring a lot! Not at all clinical. Martial had 4 good chances if I’m counting right.
Man U need to shape up the defence but at the same time to remember not to rely on Bruno for all the work. Fergie would have sorted that problem by now
Found this, might be useful
This might be easier to see
Thanks.
Nice to see our old chum Mitrovic in there.
I’d been scratching my head about Dallas and was wondering why he seemed to be in so many sides.
Think I’d want to take a gander at Leeds first before taking the plunge. Unless they oblige us with ultra-cheap fodder.
Kralin, I am personally inspired by the Mitrovic return. Huge gamble, but it worth’s it at the price having him hidden in a 4-4-2
I am pleased and happy to hear you are inspired, Ivan.
Mitrovic may indeed feature for me, but I’ll wait and see what fortunes are to come Fulham’s way first.
:good:
Lol. Luuk de Jong scored the winner versus United. :big_boss:
(1) Deadline 1:30 hrs before 1st match of the Gw
(2) First WC deadline is Gw16
(3) Gw18a – Gw19 – Gw18b – I have no clue how FPL is handling it. Any clue anyone? I assume FPL might be adding 18b points with 18a.
Very pleased to hear about 1 – the leaked line-ups were becoming a pain;
no idea about 3 but maybe 2 will help mitigate this.
1. Ok
2. I would hope they move it till half way
3. I can’t see how the site would manage a split week. More likely BGW 18a (5 games) and DGW 19 incorporating the second half of 18b
Re transfers. Is it correct that we have 5 now and another 2 before 2nd leg of semi-finals? Read that somewhere but sounds rather odd.
Thanks
Oops…wrong thread.
It’s unlimited before the 2nd leg.
Is Di Maria back tomorrow?, Thought he only had a one match ban
Yes should be. We will see the lineup anyway.
First attempt at a team
Thoughts on this team
Looks very strong Aaron. Struck a nice balance across the starting front 7.
I’d have a plan up my sleeve for bringing City or United in at some stage though.
Auba for Bruno
Son for De Bruyne,
Only concern is the defence isn’t the best
You probably posted where you posted in error but answering someone’s RMT post with your own RMT is probably something best to avoid.
It doesn’t matter much at the moment as we don’t have the fixtures.
Shrivathsa,
Obviously we have one or two we’ll need to keep an eye on – I’m thinking Webster (with Brighton bringing two defenders in) and ensuring Salisu is ready to play straight away.
Couple of interesting ones in Grealish and Hojbjerg but in theory almost all of your players will be first choice I think so I like it for an opening effort. Well done.
Concerning thing is no Liverpool or city defender in there difficult isn’t it?, I’ll bring in Bruno and De Bruyne for Auba and son at some stage
