Welcome to FPL is live 2020/21
It’s time to set your team up, re-join leagues and get tinkering! Although it’s worth noting that the actual Premier League fixtures are still to be released and likely won’t be until after the Champions League and Europa League have completed.
For FPL the biggest change appears to be the deadline changing to 90mins before kick-off – seemingly in an attempt to combat those annoying and often false team leaks.
The Chips have remained the same as has the budget of 100mln.
The biggest changes seem to have come in player prices and in some cases, classification. Some of the more obvious changes at first glance are:
Players now classed as midfielders:
Aubameyang (Arsenal) – price 12.0mln
Greenwood (Man Utd) – price 7.5mln
Rashford (Man Utd) – price 9.5mln
Lundstram (Sheff Utd) – price 5.5mln
Players now classed as forwards:
Richarlison (Everton) – price 8.0mln
Martial (Man Utd) – price 9.0mln
Antonio (West Ham) – price 6.5mln
New players:
Midfielders:
Ziyech (Chelsea) – price 8.0mln
Forwards:
Werner (Chelsea) – price 9.5mln

Ah right fair enough! I wasnt sure because I read somewhere that Wolves were complaining that they weren’t getting the days off same as United and City.

I can’t see me affording any more than one from each team anyway so there is the benching option if they are confirmed as missing only GW1.

FPL really made it competitive this season. We have to select from the premium players….I guess can’t fit more than 4/15 to have a balanced squad.

Yeah he’s on my watchlist along with Werner – ideally I want Pulisic if fit.
No Liverpool in there puts me off a bit.
Seeing Rashford and Aubameyang in these drafts as midfielders just does not look right at all
