Welcome to FPL is live 2020/21
It’s time to set your team up, re-join leagues and get tinkering! Although it’s worth noting that the actual Premier League fixtures are still to be released and likely won’t be until after the Champions League and Europa League have completed.
For FPL the biggest change appears to be the deadline changing to 90mins before kick-off – seemingly in an attempt to combat those annoying and often false team leaks.
The Chips have remained the same as has the budget of 100mln.
The biggest changes seem to have come in player prices and in some cases, classification. Some of the more obvious changes at first glance are:
Players now classed as midfielders:
Aubameyang (Arsenal) – price 12.0mln
Greenwood (Man Utd) – price 7.5mln
Rashford (Man Utd) – price 9.5mln
Lundstram (Sheff Utd) – price 5.5mln
Players now classed as forwards:
Richarlison (Everton) – price 8.0mln
Martial (Man Utd) – price 9.0mln
Antonio (West Ham) – price 6.5mln
New players:
Midfielders:
Ziyech (Chelsea) – price 8.0mln
Forwards:
Werner (Chelsea) – price 9.5mln

Looks like they have squeezed hard at the lower end. Hard to find many 4.5 mids who get much minutes etc.

That’s true. McCarthy, Romeu, Stephens and youngsters like Gordon, Jones, Gilmour (when fit), etc.
In my first draft I am on 4-4-2 but I will most likely switch to 4-5-1 cause there is so much talent in midfield.

I wonder if Mitrovic is still in form. He had a great start of the season a couple of years ago. Not bad for a third striker at 6.00. Then again, we don’t know the fixtures yet :scratch_one-s_head:
Just found out. 26 goals in 40 appearances for 2019/20.
It ain’t that bad for that price. Usually the promoted teams start with a blast before they fade away after 10 rounds.

GP, you are so right. I still remember when init had a dream with him scoring a hatty. Well, he went and scored a brace that week, it was hilarious :laugh2:
Distinct lack of forwards though so he might make it in
he seems to be scoring alot still last season, i think he is at a good price, fulham will need him scoring alot of goals again to keep up this season! might take a punt on him if fixtures are good
What kind of distribution you are looking at? Tried a typical 3-4-3 with flexibility of 4-4-2.
GK: 4.5 + 4 = 8.5 ——- means sadly forget Pope
DEF: 7.5 + 5 + 4.5 + 4.5 + 4 = 25.5 ——- To fit TAA, the rest are killed. Perhaps Robo/VVD might give more balance. To find 4m hidden gem?
MID: 12 + 11.5 + 8.5 + 6 + 4.5 = 42.5 ——— means any 2 of Auba/Salah/Mane/KDB/Sterling/Bruno + Son/Mahrez/Pulisic + 6 (no good option)
FWD: 9 + 8.5 + 6 = 23.5 ——- means any 1 of Vardy/Martial/Timo/Jesus
Aguero 10.5 is a steal…. provided he is fit and stays back at City.
