With deadlines between GW’s almost running into each other this somewhat randomly placed and sprawling midweek fixture list always feels like it is simply placed here as a training vehicle ahead of what is about to come over Christmas.
With GW13 having only finished late on Sunday evening we are back at it already on Tuesday and this one goes through to Thursday night and then GW15 kicks off on Saturday. It’s a 2-6-2 split with Wednesday doing the heavy carrying.
Just the two on Tuesday then and we begin with a relegation 6-pointer as the worlds richest club (Newcastle) go head to head with the world yo-yo champions (Norwich) at 7.30pm. If that one hasn’t put you to sleep then Amazon are obviously hoping that you will then switch over to see the 2nd half of Leeds v Palace as they are stategically placed to kick off 45mins later at 8.15pm.
The oh-so-clever ploy continues on Wednesday with Saints/Leicester, Watford/Chelsea, West Ham/Brighton & Wolves/Burnley all in the early slot before you are forced to turn over to watch either Villa vs Man City or the Merseyside Massacre Derby.
We may have spotted the flaw in their plan on Thursday though… good luck getting either Spurs or Arsenal fans to tune in early or switch over later to watch their rivals as the former face Brentford and the latter go to Old Trafford. The rest of us will though, probably just for a laugh.

TAA has 6 attacking returns in his last 6 games, I would not be selling him because of one blank
maybe a double up, but not a sell

it enables me to do a useless gallagher to bernardo for eg.
i probably wont do it though. now i have 2 ft and no idea hat to do.
could sell antonio to watkins or toney to dennis or gallagher to dont know who but all seem sideways move.
or simply do coady to white or a 4.5 as wolves have terrible fixtures now.
I would get TAA in for a hit(which I did 2 weeks back). Losing him is madness right now. We won’t be having this discussion had he just got an assist today. He’d be in BPS then for sure as well. So, may be Robbo+TAA is the way to go.
Salah and Jota the only two (out of 7) scoring more than 1 or 2 points…pathetic.
Is it worth selling Son before he has Norwich at home so I can get Jota? Son has blanked in the last 4 and I feel one of my big mistakes this season has been waiting too long to get players in form, and end up missing out on their big returns.
It would also give me the funds to get Bernardo for McArthur (currently bench fodder) next week, so I don’t have to play the likes of Toney, White, or Livramento unless they have a good fixture

On 2nd thought, Bernardo has Watford this week – would it make more sense to get him now and Jota next GW? I expect both to go up in price anyways
wolves away not an easy game. wolves seem not to concede much. maybe liv win 1 or 2-0.
if i had son, i will play him vs norwich and then get rid.
Again Livramento to sub-in from my bench, but with an improvement over last GW from 0 to 1.
I’m just glad somebody reads this stuff as I know very few do with it being such a generic ‘article’.

My plan was to sell Gallagher for Jota with this weeks FT but I wonder if ESR>Jota is a better option. Thoughts on that?
ODT. Have Gallagher myself. And I don’t have any plans to remove him until GW20. He could give few returns, given their fixtures.
