Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 18

There may be some games to chat about…

We are at the time of writing down to just the five four fixtures. By the time this hits the airwaves then… who knows!

In theory there are were two games on Saturday with Villa and Burnley kicking us off on their lonesome at 3pm before Leeds and Arsenal ‘completed’ the day at 5.30pm. Now it’s just the latter.

Sunday looks relatively crowded then with three games! Two at 2pm with Newcastle having the unenviable task of trying to restrict Man City as well as Wolves and Chelsea competing to see who can miss the most chances in a game. Our rather curtailed GW comes to an end at 4.30pm as Spurs welcome Liverpool.*

*delete as applicable

There is then a bit of respite with a break until next Sunday.

Assuming there is a GW19 to speak of it is our intention to have some normal articles on the upcoming midweek, but we shall probably, and quite sensibly play this by ear!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 18 from all at FF247!

Could have got Lacazette and jota but thought long term and got esr and ramsey for – 4 5 mins before villa game called off.
Was then about to free hit, was better off doing that atleast.

I seriously considered Martinelli but went for ‘safe’ option ESR despite feeling Martinelli is on form. Worried about rotation. dash

I was pretty chuffed ESR brought home the bacon again. Not as much as the other bloke but still, more points than most players will score this week.

      • OddDane says:

More points than entire teams even, I’d say… Rather frustratingly also more points than Lacazette despite playing just 12 minutes no

        • Smash says:

So lucky to get two goals I’m two weeks coming off the bench. He seems to be scoring every shot. Martinelli is looking really good on the other hand

        • Kralin says:

They both lend themselves to a 3/5/2 formation. Usual three up front has turned into a bit of a torment. I may get him in – for Brownhill – and deploy him that way. Woud mean three Arsenal players but all of them are enabling types and all of them I’m sure will continue to provide value for money.

I wonder where we’ll be by Boxing Day though.

Surely we cannot keep ignoring Martinelli? He’s only 5.2 and seems to have solidified his place in Arsenal’s lineup, usually the player trying to run in behind. 6 attacking returns in the last 6GWs, plus he could easily get more today

-4 hit bringing in Martineli & Laca paying off beautifully

Shame Laca isn’t getting an assist for Saka’s goal, looked like it was him who did the last pass.
