If you overslept then there’s a fair to middling chance that Salah has already either destroyed Leeds and got you 40 points, blanked again and got you 2 or had his game cancelled and is in bed with Covid.
Wolves and Watford happens / happened at the same time of 12:30pm.
Yeah ok, scrap all that….
Either way there are another 5 4 games at 3pm before Villa and Chelsea have a go at a game at 5:30pm and Brighton and Brentford do likewise at 8pm. Maybe….
Newcastle and Manchester United stand alone on the 27th at 8pm before we begin again the day after with an 11am deadline. Maybe….

Does jorginho know how to score goals or get assists or do anything useful except score penalties with absolutely no power which mysteriously goalkeepers struggle to save? His 2nd double digit haul recently for getting 2 penalties in 1 game! Should i get him for esr and just hope chelsea keep getting penalties?

No mystery about it. He skips in the air to commit the goalkeeper – only looking at him in a splitsecond to see which way he’s leaning and rolling it the other way.

Like many of us I have 3 Arsenal. Probably a FH gameweek coming.
I’m in the same boat but am thinking of trying to manage it through normal play and just bench them.
Smith Rowe will still somehow get points.

That seems fine. Obviously make the move as late as you can. The United veteran may shoot up in price if he scores one or two tonight.

Given the turbulent times, and the fact Leicester won’t have as much rest, I’ve been musing on getting Salah back for the two games before AFCON. Though I’d keep Son. I’m deluding myself it’s having the best of both worlds.

When I sold Salah yesterday I had to steel myself beforehand.
There’s a pain inside me now that will never leave.
There should be a support group for us who sold salah.

Smash, or anyone for that matter, what are your thoughts on the Chelsea defence? I’m on my WC and toying with the idea of going without a Chelsea defender.
They are heading into two blanks soon aren’t they? They are also not playing very well, not a bad strategy at all imo
I think it’s a decent strategy until Chilwell comes back then maybe pick him up,although they were a tad unlucky to concede yesterday.
That’s true, the goal itself was slightly unlucky, but Villa had many good chances, Chelsea defending hasn’t been that good in the last 3-4 games imo

We don’t look great at all. James is still the best one. The players are starting to come back now. Yesterday conceding was a bit of a fluke . The midfield has been an issue defensively with Jorginho playing injured , no Kante and no Kovacic that’s why we have been conceding. RCB keeps changing too. I think you can go without in truth

I had a captain pick this week I definitely didn’t pick myself, Livramento, I forgot about the deadline and went to check my team, and shockingly found him as my captain… I have no recollection of picking him as my captain, and frankly, why the hell would I have done that? I suspect it has something to do with the site crashing prior deadline…. Anyone else with similar oddities with their team this GW?

Yeah, very strange indeed. And bad luck, however I have no idea who I would have captained instead (as Salah was not an option) so I at least can’t sulk in “oh I lost so and so pts with that”, who knows I could have capped a player who blanked as well
I was allotted the Bowen captaincy card by the random mechanism at FPL Towers and it was satisfactory but unexciting (4pts x 2). I in fact felt sure I’d left it on MO Salah and vice captain Phoden, so it was quite a pleasant surprise to see it fell on Bowen, who supplied 8 of my 28 points (all out – a collapse akin to that of the England cricket team! )
Ahh I noticed someone in the regulars league that had done that and not made any transfers,I assumed they had missed the deadline.You don’t use the Fpl app do you ? I know in the past it could be quite glitchy and a similar thing happened to a friend.
No I don’t use the app, just the regular site on my phone, I just missed the deadline because like many I wanted to wait for making my transfers in case any more games were postponed, usually I finalize my team hours before deadline, this was due to covid completely
Happens when you substitute the captain in your team with a bench player. The armband goes to the substituted player by default.
I think u r my h2h opponent then. Found it odd too for a high ranked player to have c livramento.
