We trust you all had a great Christmas Day and wake up fresh as a daisy on Boxing Day for our usual Live Match Chat. If you overslept then there’s a fair to middling chance that Salah has already either destroyed Leeds and got you 40 points, blanked again and got you 2 or had his game cancelled and is in bed with Covid.
Wolves and Watford happens / happened at the same time of 12:30pm.
Yeah ok, scrap all that….
Either way there are another 5 4 games at 3pm before Villa and Chelsea have a go at a game at 5:30pm and Brighton and Brentford do likewise at 8pm. Maybe….
Newcastle and Manchester United stand alone on the 27th at 8pm before we begin again the day after with an 11am deadline. Maybe….

The most 3 transferred in players are saka, odegaard and Tierney as of now. Lol

I don’t mind if EVE v NEW or CPL v NOR also gets called off as I’ll still be able to field 11 for GW20. Anything else and I’ll be driven to my first FH. But I don’t want to as I just bought Bowen and Reguilon tonight and they’ll cost more if I have to redo them later
What was the rush?
Is there a cheap GK for Gw20? or go GK less?
Every week at least 1 new challenge.

Haven’t had 11 players last 3 gw’s…
I quite like the new markers of success. I used to see 50 points as being a reasonable week. I now see not plummeting 200,000 places as being OK really, almost something to be chuffed about. Having more than seven starters is a staggering achievement.
Probably a good time to get a cheap 2nd gk.
Maybe they could sling us some more bread and allow us to get a third keeper.
What happened to guaita? He is not flagged now so injured or 2nd choice?
Covid I think
I’ve reached the point where a non-playing Guaita is a sideshow in relation to the other problems I have. In fact his non-playing seems almost too simple a problem to bother grappling with.
Arsenal game being canceled is unfortunate, I have 3 of their players. If another game is canceled I’ll most likely use of my FH chips, otherwise I can field 11 by playing Livra or Pukki and using my FT on a keeper. Any advice on who I should get?
Very unfortunate. Could have been a turkey shoot. And I was looking forward to Smith Rowe being brought on at 90 (+4) and duly scoring again.
A consequence of the Arsenal postponement presumably will mean a DGW before too long* so I’d be inclined to keep Ramsdale.
Maybe get a back-up keeper.

Atleast u don’t have watkins. U can just move foster to Bachmann with ur free transfer if u want full 11. Or get ddg for ramsdale.
I am also exploring this option.
Perhaps it’s time for one off Limitless chip like in UCL, Euro or WC fantasy games.
Or, just and extra January wildcard could suffice
How about sanctioning the players for not getting vaccinated, fining and docking clubs points? Because neither players or clubs seem to be taking any of this Covid seriously, why are they NOT being held accountable for their selfish actions?

Omicron is infecting people who’ve previously been jabbed.
Boosters don’t kick in straight away.
There are practically no restrictions in England at the moment.

Why is it not 100%?
Why have they not had the boosters?
I have had two doses and the booster, what are the players excuses, because they have no valid reason as far as I am concerned.
Last time I looked PL players were in the younger demographic.
Boosters have only just been rolled out to this age group.
In addition, boosters don’t stop you getting infected.
In fact boosters’ efficacy seems to be waning with alarming speed.
We may need a 4th booster soon. Some countries have already started.
The restrictions in England are not restrictions.
Delta hasn’t gone away.
The dataset (October) is two months’ old.
The jabs don’t stop you from getting it Terminators so I really struggle in getting your point. Antonio who was double jabbed is a good example of this as he’s recently had Covid.
