We hope that GW1 was kind to you, but worry not if it wasn’t, as GW2 is upon us already. This one begins on Saturday lunchtime with Liverpool hosting Burnley and hoping for better than the 0-1 defeat they managed last season. The big change this season is the return of multiple 3pm Saturday games, and what a welcome relief that is. We have FOUR of them this week with matches at Villa, Palace, Leeds and the Etihad. Saturday ends with Brighton welcoming Watford at 5.30pm.
Sunday should be fun as Manchester United go to the Saints who they had much fun with last season, Nuno gets an early return to Wolves and then Thomas Tactics gets to further nail Arteta into his inevitable Arsenal coffin. (Editor: Bit dark that, even for Init!)
We depart GW2 with our first Monday night game of the new season as Leicester go to West Ham, could be a cracker that.

I checked the criteria to win the regular leagues price. 1 of it is to have a fanteam account but they are not accepting users from my country. What can I do?

Spurs seem to be happy to win 1-0. But then it is Watford so who knows.

Would you play Ayling or Amartey?
amartey as they play norwich. Assuming vestergaard still injured. More chance of CS.
Though for me its between Ayling & Coady who play ManU so I ll play Ayling vs Burnley.
Think I prefer Ayling seeing the upside of him potentially grabbing something in attack.

Would you sacrifice TAA and Ings for a 4.7 defender and Lukaku?
Tempted to WC, my team would then look like this:
Sanchez (Foster)
Alonso Tanganga White (Livramento) (Tsimikas)
Salah Fernandes Raphinha Benrahma (Bissouma)
Lukaku DCL Antonio
Defence is weak but it lets me get Salah, Fernandes and Lukaku in the same team.
if u want bruno salah & lukaku, some sacrifice has to be made. That defense does look weak. Especially Alonso who will at best be rotated with Chilwell. Dont see Alonso playing each week.
How would you line up defense with 5.5 and two 4.5s?
In the end I think it comes down to Lukaku or TAA.

TAA Shaw White (Veltman) (Tsimikas)
Salah Fernandes Greenwood Barnes (Bissouma)
Ings Antonio Toney
Drop Alonso down and upgrade Tsimkas – that way you are at least giving yourself some options in defence.
And I’d lose White for another 4.5mln defender too but I think that’s just me.
Jansson, Webster, Ayling, Kilman, Marcal etc. Lots of options.
If you do decide to go this was, I absolutely love that attacking front seven.

I did have 2ft with £0 itb I have already swapped out Barns for Ben leaving 1ft to carry over
I am thinking of trying to get DCL/ings (more tempted by DCL given fixtures now) in but only way would require 2 more transfers and maybe dropping Shaw for Duff/Livramento and going forward a more 3 5 2 formation, Could possibly take the 4 point hit or wait to next week now with 2 FTs again.
Do you think that would leave a bit of a weak defence?
Probably leave it now until at least Friday incase you need that other transfer for something urgent.
I would give this lot another chance this week – it’s well set up, in fact, it is a shame Coufal is on the bench and I’d consider him over Ayling…..maybe.
Thanks GP. was not my final team selection as will probably C Antonio this week I reckon as well. Maybe I should give Shaw another week. Just a bit worried about price increases on those budget defenders and DCL but should be ok looking at as now currently have 0.8 ITB
