I’ve just checked one of the leagues he is in and there are a Joe and Laurence Maguire (Brothers) in the same league, Harry’s real name is Jacob, hence the name being JM

i brought in trossard for a hit. real waste. of course had he scored the sitter early in the game would have been a genius move.
I benched Sanchez and played Bachman. Whether that was wise we’ll find out later

Aw crap….. just realised that I still have my Christmas hat on which means I’m now going to have to leave it on all year as it’s essentially the same as missing the deadline for the decs at home.
Yeah that’s a great description of it navigating without a map. Some people seem to be playing too cautious (me I think) and some are just making transfers that just look good for one week and messing up their teams. Regardless it’s carnage and we haven’t even reached the standard doubles season yet. This is the Covid bonus doubles
Still nothing wrong with cautious Smash. If you can still plan ahead amidst all of this then great and you may benefit from it. ‘If you can keep your head when all about you, Are losing theirs’ etc.
I think the site team is usually a good example of that.
Personally I’m usually very cautious and plan ahead a lot but at the moment I’m more or less just playing the week in front of me. I’ve taken a -8 this week which is almost unheard of for me and that’s partly because I had so many flags but also partly because I’ve taken my eye off the planning ahead bit and that’s when you tend to get in a mess and end up having to do things like a -8 to get yourself out of a hole that you probably could have avoided if you’d looked ahead.
Yeah possibly. I mean I’m usually too rash. I think a player is a problem and he’s really not. I get fixated with having to have a certain player at some point, I’m still trying to plan to an extent. Though my team looks a bit of a mess with James, Salah and Livramento on my bench. Just hope I get 11 out which is relying on City.
Yeah, you might be flying too close to the wind there then. Having just 11 right now is one thing. Combing that with the words ‘relying on City’……….
