Welcome back to FPL and if you are one of these shut-down-completely types who has spent the time between the end of Gameweek 3 and this deadline up a mountain with no internet or civilisation, you haven’t missed an awful lot (pffft)! Just tell me you made your transfers or pressed the confirm button correctly? No? You could be in for a rough one then.
Anyway, the fixtures themselves have us off to the capital this lunchtime for a South meets North affair as Palace host Spurs at Selhurst Park.
At 3pm – in a continuing glorious and welcome return of normality – we have count ’em SIX matches on offer. Those who have the luxury of watching matches at this time, we guess you may have your eyes fully on Old Trafford as the world watches how Newcastle will line up without Callum Wilson. United v United, Red v Black and White.
Arsenal and Norwich square off in what already looks like a six-pointer (jokes) and there are matches at Southampton, as they welcome West Ham United, and Watford who host Wolves. Meanwhile two Cities collide at the KP where Leicester and Manchester renew rivalries with the Foxes sharing the most recent fortune in their meetings.
Lastly, it is ironic how two teams who play football on the ground sounds like the airborne battle of the weekend as the Bees play the Seagulls. Brentford v Brighton is also a phonetic dream.
At dinner time (winks), Chelsea and Rom go after the (Argentine-free) Villains.
Sunday has us waiting until 4.30pm before we can enjoy Leeds v Liverpool (Mark Viduka springs to mind) and until then, I don’t know – talk to your family or something I guess.
MNF is Everton v Burnley and is one for the DCL captainers to pin their Gameweek 4 hopes on.

Am I the only one disappointed Ronnie didn’t score a hatty?
With so many selfish players around, scoring a brace is quite big achievement.
No Ronnie but brought in Pogba (c) w/ 2 assists and 2 bonus points. Thanks Ivan for the push as I was undecided between/ Pogs, Torres and Jota. But now have to decide whether to WC or -8pt hit to bring in CR7.
A bit lucky with those assists. One was because Bruno scored a wonderful goal from distance and the other was because Martial did a great dummy so Lingard would get it.
They all count the same though, technically we could say that Ronaldo was a bit lucky in both goals also, the keeper certainly helped him in both.
True Mito, I’ll take it tho! WC or -8pt hit to bring in Ronnie? What do you reckon?

Sanchez, I am in the same boat. Have 2 FT and 0.9 ITB. Still might end up with -4, even -8 if necessary cause I want to keep Bruno in.
Try to retain the WC. It will be much more useful for the next IB when dust has settled. There are still a few unclear situations with some players and some teams formations.
The Pog never lets you down.
I’ve just got in – was looking at the Man U score from behind my fingers – and smiled when I saw what The Pog had done.
I had Bruno(C) before CR7 transfer news and would have stayed that way. My planned transfer was Ings to DCL.
(1) For me, Bruno(16)+DCL(?) to CR7(26-4=22)+Torres(3) is how it stands – means if DCL scores 9, then its all even.
(2) For Salah(C), then it is Salah(?x2)+Bruno(8)+DCL(?) to Salah(?)+25 from CR7+Torres. Means Salah+DCL to score 17 points which is quite possible.
I do not see there is much difference in either of the strategies.

I was pretty much the same. I was hoping that Bruno as C plus whatever Shaw got would make any damage done by Ronaldo manageable.
However I nearly crapped the floor with anxiety when I saw he’d scored two and Man U had let one in (before seeing the other goals, assists etc).

Both are very much possible. Only thing is that how much rotation Tuchel will do because of UCL.

Thats quite likely. But Lukaku also needs to be managed as he has the minor niggle. I guess he will start and will come off by 70 mins. depending on the scoreline.
Yeah, I think I need to find a way to get him in. I don’t think it’s possible unless I give up Salah or TAA.
I don’t have either taa or salah. Only jota (and still tsimikas). But considering 1 of them now. Need to get rid of son
