FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 6
FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 6
Five gameweeks in already, how time flies when you’re having fun!
Gameweek 6 begins on Saturday this week, thank the good lord! (Pardew?). The normality ends there though as we have two 12.30 kick offs. Chelsea look to continue their solid form as they welcome Man City while Villa take the trip up the M6 to Old Trafford.
Why are United at 12.30pm but not on TV? Because The Courteeners are playing at Old Trafford Cricket Ground that night! These rock bands think they can Take Over The World!
Four 3pm matches follow as Everton hope the visit of Norwich may inject some momentum into their campaign, Antonio looks to single handedly destroy the Leeds defence, Leicester host Burnley and Newcastle take the long trip down to Watford where the Hornets might be asking the Geordies What Took You So Long?
The evening match sees miserly Brentford hoping to contain Salah & co who are eyeing another league title. Not Nineteen Forever then Reds?
Sunday sees two matches. First up is Wolves – with Adama Traore Cavorting (but not scoring) as they go to Southampton and then we have the NLD at The Emirates as Arsenal and Spurs fight it out to see who can be London’s worst club. Taking the perfect opportunity to slag both clubs in one sentence? No You Didn’t, No You Don’t!
Our gameweek ends on Monday as Palace draw swords with their arch enemies, Brighton. If you have FPL players in this one, Bide Your Time.
The games in full…

Hi all. Been awol for a while now but good to be back again. I’m WC this week and would very appreciate some of your worldly advice as to how I can try and attain a stronger backline.
If you are playing 3-4-3 then you don’t need 5th mid over 4.5 M IMO. Therefore sacrifice one of them and you’ll be able to upgrade 1/2 of your defenders.
Good advice , thank you
Wildcard team big trust in Chelsea
Longstaff is not good enough to be a starter in your WC team, also don’t think you should triple up on West Ham.
How about White instead of Cresswell, which would give you another 1.1 to upgrade Longstaff, perhaps to Gallagher?
Flying tomorrow so need some help today.
Which 3 of Luka, Ronnie, Haaland, Lewa? (Or?)
Thanks guys!
Bees, I would have gone with Lewa if he was in my team.
In fact, will try to get him for this round.
Who would you get rid of Ivan…Ronnie or Luka?
Thanks mate.
It’s hard to choose Bees.
In my case would be Haaland as although I think he will play, remains doubtful and could be just a cameo.
I will wait for more news tomorrow and could leave all three after all
Who is a good replacement for Shaw? Or would you save and deal with him next GW?
Christensen or Alonso or a Man City defender if you have something itb.
I got nothing ITB so Alonso is out of reach. Christensen is doable but I was concerned about double Chelsea def a little and generally reading here that he may not be nailed. Laporte and Walker are my best options for City def and well we all know the risks with City. Of those two I was not sure who the best least riskiest gamble was.
Maybe rolling it and coming away from the next IB is not a bad idea.
*from the next IB with 2 FTs….
Plenty of cheap mid options. Smith Rowe has suddenly come to life. Worth considering over the likes of Doucoure or Townsend?
Crystal Palace vs Brighton
From an underdog perspective I would love to see BHA at the top if only for one GW but from a purely FPL perspective I really want a 0-0 ending.
I’m with you, ODT, having Guaita and Duffy 0-0 suits me fine
I am waiting for some surprise from McArthur but…..
