Five gameweeks in already, how time flies when you’re having fun!

Gameweek 6 begins on Saturday this week, thank the good lord! (Pardew?). The normality ends there though as we have two 12.30 kick offs. Chelsea look to continue their solid form as they welcome Man City while Villa take the trip up the M6 to Old Trafford.

Why are United at 12.30pm but not on TV? Because The Courteeners are playing at Old Trafford Cricket Ground that night! These rock bands think they can Take Over The World!

Four 3pm matches follow as Everton hope the visit of Norwich may inject some momentum into their campaign, Antonio looks to single handedly destroy the Leeds defence, Leicester host Burnley and Newcastle take the long trip down to Watford where the Hornets might be asking the Geordies What Took You So Long?

The evening match sees miserly Brentford hoping to contain Salah & co who are eyeing another league title. Not Nineteen Forever then Reds?

Sunday sees two matches. First up is Wolves – with Adama Traore Cavorting (but not scoring) as they go to Southampton and then we have the NLD at The Emirates as Arsenal and Spurs fight it out to see who can be London’s worst club. Taking the perfect opportunity to slag both clubs in one sentence? No You Didn’t, No You Don’t!

Our gameweek ends on Monday as Palace draw swords with their arch enemies, Brighton. If you have FPL players in this one, Bide Your Time.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

…What is going on, come on that’s just retarded defending dash

I thought when it went 2-3 it was in the bag but not to be. From a Liverpool fan perspective things were looking quite good today at that point; but as of now, B&HA could be league leaders by the end of the GW. I hope they are, in fact.

      • OddDane says:

Klopp had a chance to put some distance to City and the chelskis, so very disappointing it ended with a draw. I don’t think one should expect the bees to pull points from either of those teams… But you’re right, it’d be fun to see Brighton lead the table smile

    Another strange GW
37 points with Jimi, McArthur, Livra and Marcal to play mda

who would u rather have long term

    1. Trent & a 4.5 like Ayling
    2. Cancelo & Ruediger

LIV do look like conceding each game but prior to today feel they were bit lucky to keep CS.
I got in Trent GW & he got me 1 pt in 2 games with a 7.5 price tag for a defender

As Liverpool and City collide next GW that may be one for theory rather than practice.

Cencelo has played every minute so far so certainly worth thinking about.

In your shoes I’d prioritise Salah.

I’m thinking of doubling Chelsea + TAA but have numerous fires to put out.

salah is in my plan from gw8 after the city game.
Ronaldo & Greenwood OUT for Salah & one of a forward upto 8m (toney/ watkins or ings/ st.max) for a hit
United didnt impress me & of late they have lost their form even losing to young boys. I ll keep them for the EVE game but thereafter ManU fixtures turn ugly.
Right now i have 2 ft so with 1 hit and i can make 4 changes in 2 gws.

        • Kralin says:

          That sounds fine.

Will be interesting to see how the captaincy goes next GW. I imagine a lot of people will say ‘over my dead body’ re Ronaldo after today’s shitshow then see Salah has City then say ‘Ronaldo no-brainer’.

          Well, me anyway.

        • Reg83 says:

next week captain is confusing. i also have lukaku vs southampton or even antonio vs brentford to consider. or of course cr7 vs everton at home.

        • Kralin says:

Not much between Lukaku and Ronaldo, as far as I can see. Psychologically Lukaku edges it because of the timings of the games. Successive Man U early-start shitshows – e.g. Ronaldo captaincy fails – may melt down the fantasy community and engender an orgy of selling.

Brighton will be top of the table if they win on Monday. What larks. Or seagulls, even.

    Hey all,

Who would you say is the best defender under 5.0 to get, not christiansen though.

Was thinking maybe Cash or targett? Or one of the 4.5’s
