The last GW before yet another International Break. This one begins on Saturday as Ronaldo Man United welcome Rafa back to Old Trafford for lunch.

We then have four games at 3pm with Norwich taking the long trip up to Burnley, Chelsea looking to rediscover their mojo vs Saints, Leeds hosting Watford and Newcastle going down to Wolves.

Arsenal’s new resolve will then be severely tested by Brighton in the late game.

2pm on Sunday then becomes the new 3pm of a Saturday with three games all at once: Palace welcome Vardy and co, Spurs and Villa play hide & seek with their Argentinian contingent and Brentford make the short trip to West Ham.

Presumably they were all told to clear off early to make way for Sky’s inevitable mammoth build-up to the title decider as Klopp and Pep lock horns once more.

  2. Rather cheekily he asks , ‘Do you think it’s time to ditch the 2 Mega strikers, Ronaldo and Lukaku, in order to beef up the mid-field and accomodate the likes of Salah, KDB, Foden and co.?’ smile
    And you do the hokey-kokey and you turn it all around, that’s what it’s all about!

        • If KDB was a bit cheaper

          He has made city look very good last couple of weeks

        • Yeah I’d agree he’s massively overpriced. Nearly every other City midfielder has more FPL points in the last year. Even the goal today was lucky

    • Probably not both but 1 can be sacrificed. Kdb too costly, perhaps foden a realistic option

    • Foden and Grealish can be justified but KDB is out of my budget

    • Ditch one maybe, just playing the fixtures. Chelsea have got a really good chance to put their foot down in the league so Lukaku for me (probably) for the next few then a switch back to Ronaldo in December (I think).

      Will be interesting to see how it goes with United.

  3. After finishing on 20 pts, thats right 20 points my team total, my highest scorer being raphinha with 3 pts.. Out go cr7 Greenwood and ayling for salah toney and cancelo for – 4.
    Not even bothering to wait for the IB after a humiliating GW.

    In other news psg bayern real Madrid and Barcelona all lose this weekend. So really an extremely bizarre weekend.

    • Very entertaining stuff. Brentwood’s last ditch victory the highlight I’d say, along with the Salah goal of course.

      Honorary mention for the spirited Palace fight back too.
