The last GW before yet another International Break. This one begins on Saturday as Ronaldo Man United welcome Rafa back to Old Trafford for lunch.

We then have four games at 3pm with Norwich taking the long trip up to Burnley, Chelsea looking to rediscover their mojo vs Saints, Leeds hosting Watford and Newcastle going down to Wolves.

Arsenal’s new resolve will then be severely tested by Brighton in the late game.

2pm on Sunday then becomes the new 3pm of a Saturday with three games all at once: Palace welcome Vardy and co, Spurs and Villa play hide & seek with their Argentinian contingent and Brentford make the short trip to West Ham.

Presumably they were all told to clear off early to make way for Sky’s inevitable mammoth build-up to the title decider as Klopp and Pep lock horns once more.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

    Is it time to WC?
I’d probably drop a premium and upgrade all over the place.
Had a really slow start and not sure if it’s best sorted now or saved.
    Thanks.

With Greenwood looking like he is going down tonight and having lost value on Torres already, I need to deal with these two! Annoyingly I don’t like moving early on an IB but realistically both could fall again by next GW. Any thoughts on replacements?

Although I’m a sucker for price changes, even I’d think that’s a bit reckless. If it was blocking a specific move then perhaps, but purely based on keeping your TV up if say ride it out. In terms of replacements, I’m keeping an eye on Zaha. Or maybe go cheaper in Gallagher/ESM/Mbeumo and use the funds elsewhere. One thing that stands out at the moment is I’m not 100% sure on your formation, so a downgrade somewhere seems sensible.

      • igy4 says:

Thanks Banjo! I guess my thoughts were that if I keep losing TV over the next couple of weeks then it would probably block a potential move down the line if I’m 0.1 short. They’ve both been players on my ship list over the last couple of weeks and I’ve been giving them one more chance! It seems now they’re losing value, it’s time.

Wondering whether ESR is worth a shot but also looking at Sarr. Gray will probably become Allan at some point to free up some cash!

I’ve got Torres and as frustrating as he is to own the Burnley game is the type I think he might play as they will need a centre forward

    Fantasy Football Hackub UPDATE

I’ve had quite a few WhatsApp messages about this from our team so I thought it responsible and wise to warn our community here.

They have been hacked and have had approximately 70,000 emails and unencrypted passwords stolen and therefore compromised. I would encourage anyone who has registered with them in the past, be it just for email updates or worse for paid subscriptions, to check out Twitter for the full story but it’s a bit wood and trees now given that they are getting mullered left, right and centre on there.

In short then, if you fall into one of the above categories I would suggest you take action immediately and change your password on there, certainly also on FPL, and potentially your passwords elsewhere if you have used the same one on say banking Apps or whatever.

We have no dog in this fight and I wish them nothing but the best in recovering from this awkward situation. Although that may be somewhat problematic for them now judging by Twitter!

By way of reassurance though, from our own FF247 POV, it appears that FFHub may have been somewhat lax with storing passwords. We aren’t. I have top level access on here and I can’t see a single password unencrypted. I can change them but I can’t see the original. Crucially though, we don’t ask for any credit card details. That tends to be a massive draw for hackers, unsurprisingly.

I’m 100% certain that if the worst was ever to happen here then all any hackers would end up with would be a load of email addresses and a load of matching daft usernames and gravs and not a lot much more.

We can but try but as I say if they hacked us and ended up with my details I’d simply say good luck with knowing that my username was inittowinit and that it was associated with a pic of Foghorn Leghorn rofl

      Kralin says:

Interesting stuff. If they’ve been as lax as you say about passwords etc they could get done under GDPR.

      • inittowinit says:

I’m unsure on the legalities of that if you get hacked in order to steal it. I’m not suggesting they left it lying on a desk, it just wasn’t hidden very securely. Almost like it was in a filing cabinet with a lock on but they forgot to close said lock. But it still took someone to go poking to get it.

        • Kralin says:

I’m not sure either, one illegal act uncovering not quite an illegal act, more one of negligence.

I’ve heard of people / organisations getting into trouble with the ICO when laptops with sensitive data on have been nicked, etc.

I had a glance at the issue earlier, some geezer has put a very rambling (but worthy) account of what’s going on over on You Tube (I haven’t looked at Twitter). But it looks like personal emails and passwords of 70k people have been put into the public domain. And another site has been hacked (and Scout was hacked in order to get the message out). The hacker, it seems, has taken umbrage at user data being sold for profit – something the site itself is denying.

          It’s a huge shitshow.

        • Kralin says:

But it could all end up with some sort of weird ‘when I were a lad’ hack-pride going on:

          ‘Well, we were hacked first’,

          ‘no, we were’,

‘we had all our users’ log-ins leaked’

‘pah all our users got negative credit-ratings as a result’

‘well all our users had their bank details leaked ‘

‘our users had their family car…’ etc etc

        • inittowinit says:

I think you’ve summed it up quite nicely there with the word shitshow yes

Not sure either Hub or Scout (more likely simply associates of) come out of all this looking like anything but daft, at best.

Could be a good GDPR test case though. As far as I’m concerned I have to lock sensitive information away. Which for me, and coming back to my filing cabinet, is in there with a flimsy padlock on. I’m told that’s me done and dusted. I’m not told to then booby trap the cabinet, Indiana Jones style, just in case someone breaches it.

        • Kralin says:

If, as the hacker contends, Hub is selling user data on for profit then I think their credibility is completely shot because I cannot imagine anyone in their right mind trusting them again (given that Hub have denied they’re selling data to third parties).

However I have no idea how easy that is to prove (or disprove) that and that fact will probably be critical in the survival of Hub. If I were them I’d be getting some independent computer boffin, or company, to give their system a sound thrashing and produce the equivalent of a computer system Ofsted report.

Failing that, at the very least they need to report their hideous data breach to the ICO, though I’d like to think some of their members will have done that already.

If they’re not open then I doubt many people will be overly keen to splash the cash in the future.

P.S they are getting hammered on Twitter!

      • inittowinit says:

I’ve not looked today but I’ll probably give it a glance later just out of curiosity. It was all a bit car crash TV last night. Half your problem when you are essentially a Twitter based website is……… Twitter rofl

    2 FT and zilch ITB
Looking to bring in Lukaku which might involve a hit. The targets will be Jimi, Jota and Torres.
As Smash mentioned above that the latter has a chance to finally start, should I just do 1 FT and leave it for GW9?
    Any ideas….
