FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
(Proper) football is back and we’ve reached Gameweek 9 which once completed will be exactly one-quarter of the way through the season, but seeing as we lost a lot of football for non-football reasons, technically it isn’t… that said, they probably won’t add any additional game weeks so let’s just stick with it!
The games!
The North London Derby (Arsenal v Tottenham) kicks off the weekend with a bang! A match which usually has lots of goals will be followed at 3 pm by games at Bournemouth, who host Brentford and another London derby over in Croydon (Selhurst Park) where Crystal Palace host Chelsea. Also at 3 pm, Fulham play Newcastle on the banks of the Thames, Liverpool at Anfield will be Roberto de Zerbi’s first match as new Brighton boss, and finally, Southampton host Everton at St Mary’s. Nothing but geographical facts.
West Ham United v Wolves at the London Stadium is the 5.30 pm match.
Sunday at 2 pm and it is time for the Manchester showdown at the Etihad followed by Leeds v Aston Villa at 4.30 pm.
On a weekend of derbies, Monday evening hosts the East Midlands one at the KP where Leicester and Forest get it on!

Hear hear young Scotties!
Am stuck in the mud of the ‘close to 1m’ mark myself, and can’t seem to get out – feel like I’m gonna get run over my the impending bulldozer of the rest of the FPL world if I don’t give it a bit of a shake up!
Hope your blokes do well against the ‘Jammies’ (Hearts) today. Haven’t kept too much of an eye on your league this year, but I remember last year the Edinburgh lads had quite a good attacking stint there for a while. Should make for some good sport! Enjoy it fellas.
And good luck to everybody this weekend! đ
See youse all round!
Top of the league at stake (if perhaps only for a few hours).
After the sluggish start we’ve had, I’ll accept that.
Then down to Anfield to show that lot, what’s what
.;) 4-0 ain’t bad for an away win!
Come on DON. My cappo
