Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
(Proper) football is back and we’ve reached Gameweek 9 which once completed will be exactly one-quarter of the way through the season, but seeing as we lost a lot of football for non-football reasons, technically it isn’t… that said, they probably won’t add any additional game weeks so let’s just stick with it!
The games!
The North London Derby (Arsenal v Tottenham) kicks off the weekend with a bang! A match which usually has lots of goals will be followed at 3 pm by games at Bournemouth, who host Brentford and another London derby over in Croydon (Selhurst Park) where Crystal Palace host Chelsea. Also at 3 pm, Fulham play Newcastle on the banks of the Thames, Liverpool at Anfield will be Roberto de Zerbi’s first match as new Brighton boss, and finally, Southampton host Everton at St Mary’s. Nothing but geographical facts.
West Ham United v Wolves at the London Stadium is the 5.30 pm match.
Sunday at 2 pm and it is time for the Manchester showdown at the Etihad followed by Leeds v Aston Villa at 4.30 pm.
On a weekend of derbies, Monday evening hosts the East Midlands one at the KP where Leicester and Forest get it on!

I have the same back 4. I understand wanting to ditch TAA, but I don’t think it is worth a hit to get to Zaha and I don’t see other great defensive options. I’m planning on just banking this week if I can and reassessing next week with 2FT.

Hope you’re okay. I’m thinking of doing a City ‘Double-shuffle’, and trading out Cancelo + Dasilva for Mings + Foden – means I will have the deadly triple CIty attack, plus a more than suitable replacement for Mr One Point Per Week (Dasilva!). Will (if I have the courage to do this cheeky -4 move!) look like this….. 😉

After tonights screamer from Scamacca, I think a 4ph could well be on the cards for me. Just hope he starts for us. As for Jesus, be a tough game against Pool, and with him being 1 game away from a ban, that is tempting me to ditch now. Plus, he doesnt play GW12 (although my WC would cover that), may as well shift now and go different to everyone else)
I like your City shuffle, but not sure I would want to get rid of Cancelo. I know it ruins your plans, but TAA is the “get out of my ff team” for me..lol
Can’t have 4 players from the same team though matie! Good luck on the Scamac front!

Hey all, who would you recommend as a Walker replacement, 5.2 max? Rest of defense is White, Fofana, Trippier and Neco (Sanchez, Ward in net)
Guehi? Not a lot out there. I heard something about Fofana getting injured…hopefully nothing serious.

Cheers, was looking at Guehi or Mitchell so that’s good. Will have to leave Fofana for next week.

Neto to Maddie or Zaha?
Rather a 4ph than FH at this stage. Neto and Diaz to Zaha and Maddie. Or even Martinelli out if Neto’s funds don’t make it.
You are probably going to WC in gw13 and can bring Martinelli back if you want.
Went with gut and gonna roll the FT and keep Mitro. Wish me luck!
