Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

So, apart from Raz and Gavy, who else is wildcarding?
I am 50/50 atm, Ivan.
I’m thinking about it. Got McCarthy, Vinagre, Doherty, Havertz, Maxim and maybe even Auba who I could get rid of.
I am gonna make decision tomorrow night after the games.
At the moment WC to happen is extremely likely.
Not me Ivan. I am achieving transcendental zen calmness just leaving my team alone for now 🙂
Cool, remind me during the week to have a quick look.
Constantine too I think
Thinking about it. The issue is using transfers for a Utd player last week and City player next week is preventing other moves. So is tempting.
WC is active mate. Couldn’t handle the Kane to Martial debacle.
Constantine, by the time I recovered from the Kane to Martial shock I was hit with a second blast for doing Mane to Bruno.
80/20 yes
Active…
I like that alot
Thanks Neilos. Mulling over TAA > VVD and Lamptey > Castagne.
That would look awesome. Can’t you post up if you switch
I’m wildcarding.
I don’t like it, but I have too many issues to fix with my squad.
Frenchie, how is you WC team shaping then?
Same here Frenchie.
Those using their wildcard this week, are you planning to keep TAA in there or a cheaper Liverpool defender instead? VVD is 1.0 cheaper and has offered more in attacking returns so far
TAA is untouchable in my team. WC or not, Trent stays for me.
I am not sure if he is going to stay in my team if I go for the WC.
Cheaper other pool defender might suffice.
Anyone got wood?
Yes 😀
How’s vardy looking?
Wasn’t expecting anything but Taylor CS gone.
He got an assist
Oh nice, didn’t show on flash scores.
First draft of my WC team, how’s it looking? Could upgrade Zaha >> KDB by doing Werner >> Bamford and Coleman >> Lamptey, but not sure about selling Werner before he plays West Brom, he’s looked very good to me so far.
Veer, I see a few WC drafts excluding Man U players.
You can’t judge them just after one game.
