Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

Good to see KDB back on pens!
Will flip a coin between him and sterling though!
Looks plenty of penalties this season
Him on penalties should definitely edge it in his favour m
Yeah the penalties gives you your answer there Mitro.
KDB probably has less chance of being rotated too.
Anyone else blessed with the joy of following BBC’s live text will notice they’ve just come out with this nonsense:
‘That Kevin de Bruyne goal means there will be no draws in the opening two rounds of the new season.’
…the game’s not even finished yet!
Anyway – all aboard the KDB bandwagon :locomotive: !
Assume they meant goalless draws.
After a few thousand people ‘down-thumbed’ his comment and a few readers’ texts later, he realised his mistake :mosking: :
‘Oh yeh, this could still end as a draw. Haha.’
Haha daft twat.
Bugs me when reporters try to be too smart.
Which of these would you prefer…
1) Bamford & 4.5 mid bench fodder
2) Podence & 4.5 forward bench fodder
1 – Bamford’s in great form. An Egan-less SHU up next, too!
Podence is looking a real threat! If a Brewster loan deal happens I think I’d be edging towards option 2.
I concur..
Foden looking good again.
Thats a risky spot with Mahrey, Bilva and Ferran Tores…… this match is really tight, looking like a battle between two good defences. Quality of City has pulled it so far to 2-0 without much of attack.
Oh yeh i wouldn’t expect him to start every game but I feel like he’ll get the most minutes amongst the rest after KDB.
I’m now thinking not to WC and just take a -4 and re do my midfield. Auba, ASM & Havertz our for KDB, Rodriguez & Foden/AN other with 7m to play with.
Foden goal, Sterling assist. 2-0.
Regretting having ramsdale now. Do I just keep him until I WC?
Don’t wildcard just because of your keeper; it can’t be that bad. Is the rest of your team decent?
