Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.

Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.

The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.

Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.

Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Guys I think I’ll wildcard tonight before prices rise. Need yer help please. Team A or B?

KBD bandwagon seems like it’s going to leave no one behind, had to sacrifice Jimenez, DCL, and TAA to fit him into my team. This is how it looks now, what do you guys think?

I could potentially downgrade Zaha to Podence, which would give me some Wolves attack for their nice fixtures, and could use the funds to do Bamford >> DCL, or Van Dijk >> TAA and switch my goalkeepers to Patricio and a non starter.

Hi all this is where I am with my wildcard so far. I want kdb but am willing to wait for now.
Have 0.2 in the bank. Please feel free to rip it up lol

I am sure you know that but the only concern is lack of MC and Manchester United cover. Apart from that, looks good and can’t find anything else to pick on.

      • Neilos says:

Thanks Tornado. It’s either KDB or Kane. Both in good form but I think Kane’s fixture might just edge it….still there is time to tinker lol

        • Tornado says:

I’d prefer KDB (extra point per goal, City will probably get more penalties, point for CS, bonus magnet, playing for the better team) but it’s a personal preference. Both great optionssmile

      Veer says:

Looks very well balanced, though I would think about trying to get a Pool defender in there, especially since you’re doubling up on both Wolves and Leicester defence

You could end up deeply regretting not getting KBD when you had your WC active, though it would force you to switch up a lot of players to afford him. I’m debating the same thing myself, though in my current draft I’ve decided to have him

      • Neilos says:

Hey Veer thanks for the feedback. I may drop Patricio to Ryan and Martinez. But in terms of pool defence I have thought that and may tinker.
It’s hard Kane v KDB. Both in good form. Kane slightly better fixtures

      Smash says:

I’d get KDB in for Kane for sure. I would not want double Spurs attack even though it paid off this week

Okay then! This disastrous (for me) GW is behind us and I am still 50/50 whether I should use my WC hah
It’s probably my 3rd/4th post about it, I apologise for keep asking the same, but I genuinely cannot make my mind up.
This is my current team and I will post my latest WC draft below.
    Thoughts?

Is it a 3 match ban for Egan? Was it a straight red?
