Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweeks 17-19
And so we are back… and straight into the madness of Christmas week FPL-stylie. We may have a gameweek fewer than normal this time around but it is no less hectic with the small matter of 30 games in 11 days, with another added on for a DGW19 on the 12th.
Now we appreciate that we have just had an extended break with the World Cup but this is such a busy time for many personally, and the gameweeks often literally run into one another, so you will have to fend for yourselves a bit for the next couple of weeks. The deadlines are as follows:
GW17 11am Monday 26th December
GW18 6.15pm Friday 30th December
GW19 4pm Monday 2nd January

Ok let me start from scratch. Should I bring mitro and Mount in for -4pt? I just feel Nunez is nearly there

I don’t think I’d take the hit. Maybe just Mitro for Darwin. As for captain, I prefer Rashford if you are moving away from Haaland

I would just use the FT with no hit. Martial to Mitro if you can, if not Darwin.

I’m not chasing this dgw that much, but would you play Andreas here? And who would you bench in that case?

All options have risks. Benching Almiron for Andreas seems the popular choice.

I have the same team as you other than GK and I am in the same boat but I have Andreas in for Salah at the moment, I have no idea what to do myself.

HNY all. Not chasing this DGW really but I do have 2 FT and 2.3 ITB. I guess Toney is 50/50 at the moment but I can’t see any other weak links?

Darwin will probably be shipped out next GW if he blanks this week. KdB is annoying me but he’s due a haul and Cancelo should surely start this GW?

OK, used my 2 FT to bring in Mitro and Cucu. Gone off the idea taking a hit for KDB↔Mount.
Tempted to play White instead of Cancelo. Yes or NO?

My current set-up, I already did Patterson to Ream, I am going to captain Mitro, but I have no idea if to have Cancelo, White or Trip on the bench or who in MID to bench for Andreas.
Arsenal v Newcastle I think is either going to be a 0-0 draw so the DEF get max points or it’s going to be a goal-fest and Almiron and Martinelli bang them in.
Liverpool are pretty poor and Brentford have been playing pretty well and are at home and Liverpool have never got much from playing against Brentford, but benching Salah!
