And so we are back… and straight into the madness of Christmas week FPL-stylie. We may have a gameweek fewer than normal this time around but it is no less hectic with the small matter of 30 games in 11 days, with another added on for a DGW19 on the 12th.
Now we appreciate that we have just had an extended break with the World Cup but this is such a busy time for many personally, and the gameweeks often literally run into one another, so you will have to fend for yourselves a bit for the next couple of weeks. The deadlines are as follows:
GW17 11am Monday 26th December
GW18 6.15pm Friday 30th December
GW19 4pm Monday 2nd January

Good moves Ivan – just leaves me with no Pool cover – would mean behind the sofa time tonight..lol
If i brought them in, obviously Mitro is a straight swap for Darwin, but who would I bench for Cucu?
This will be a lottery decision I have Cuco, Cancelo and Shaw in field and Trippier and White on the bench. Thinking to play Tripp instead of Cancelo who could show with another cameo. In your case, Dunk would be my first choice for the bench.
Part of me is thinking bench Saliba.
Back 3 would be Dunk, Trippier and Cucu.
Trippier I think has more points potential than Saliba as he takes free kicks (from what I can remember)
While there is always a possible double cleansheet, dont think it will happen.
But would you bench Dunk or Saliba – between those two i think
I would play Saliba. Arsenal have won all home games so far and as good Newcastle are this season there is a possibility for a CS. Then again, Trippier is the elephant in the room, still regretting leaving him out with 12 points in GW17. Go with your guts mate.
