And so we are back… and straight into the madness of Christmas week FPL-stylie. We may have a gameweek fewer than normal this time around but it is no less hectic with the small matter of 30 games in 11 days, with another added on for a DGW19 on the 12th.
Now we appreciate that we have just had an extended break with the World Cup but this is such a busy time for many personally, and the gameweeks often literally run into one another, so you will have to fend for yourselves a bit for the next couple of weeks. The deadlines are as follows:
GW17 11am Monday 26th December
GW18 6.15pm Friday 30th December
GW19 4pm Monday 2nd January

Is cancelo now a sell even with a dgw coming?
He is not worth the money.
He isn’t, but he’s not my first player I will be dropping as Man City has a DGW.
If you have him, it’s not the right time to drop him. With the Pep’s roulette everything is possible and he surprisingly could be part in the next two games. It’s too much of a risk and wasting funds for another City defender knowing that the psycho manager can go completely different of what expected.
Yeah think I’m leaning at ditching him. He’s out of favour and out of form. His attacking stats have not even looked great. You owned him for being only City defender nailed and he’s clearly not that aany more. He can’t be likely to start both in the double anyway. Think I’ll ditch to fund Kane
On a second thought, I might do the same. That’s the only way to bring in Kane. With a hit involved doing Cancelo/Mitro↔Stones/Kane. Have the exact dosh for it but ain’t rushing with so many FA Cup and EFL games before the next round.

Will Kane be a Mitrovic MK2 and get a yc and be out of the 2nd game?
I think he’ll get 90 mins and a cameo in the other
It just occurred to me I have to wait a whole week to see Mitrovic not play the second game. This GW is far too long.
That anxiety applies to many of us. We gonna have to hope for Kepa and Cucu CS and not a surprising involvement by Pereira who weirdly we all have. It will be a strange finish of the round for sure

My plan was to get DGW KdB back for Salah. Now I have an injured Patterson who is just on the bench anyway. Cancelo seems to have fallen out of favor. I have just one FT so my questions to the group.
Stick to my original plan (Salag>KdB) and deal with Patterson/Cancelo later?
Salah>KdB and Patterson>??? for a -4? I think Cancelo gets some points out of a DGW but who knows.
I am for sure waiting on either until after the Cup/League matches but just thinking ahead, planning, scheming.
Go with your original plan but definitely wait till after cup ties as some injuries are bound to crop up

United play palace on Wednesday 18th of Jan, confirmed. Defo a double gameweek
I have Martial, Rash, and Shaw from United. Haaland, KDB and Cancelo from City.
Cancelo must become Stones in order to get Kane for Mitro.
Have the exact money now for that move but not taking chances as both Man U and Man C have games on Tuesday and Wednesday in the EFL. If there are any fluctuations, will have to settle with Ake or Akanji and hope for the best.
