And so we are back… and straight into the madness of Christmas week FPL-stylie. We may have a gameweek fewer than normal this time around but it is no less hectic with the small matter of 30 games in 11 days, with another added on for a DGW19 on the 12th.
Now we appreciate that we have just had an extended break with the World Cup but this is such a busy time for many personally, and the gameweeks often literally run into one another, so you will have to fend for yourselves a bit for the next couple of weeks. The deadlines are as follows:
GW17 11am Monday 26th December
GW18 6.15pm Friday 30th December
GW19 4pm Monday 2nd January

Hey Hammer. My fingers over the TC button and I am very tempted.
Pros for doing it he is fit and well and start both, he also scored 3 against manu last time.
Cons. Manu are looking better and pep is his manager.
Kane needs to be taken in to account for a cap to tc too

Blank GW – 25, 28 and 32
DGW – GW29, 34 and 37
What about Rashford?
I’ve considered all of the above for a TC this week. It may be well worth the punt on Kane or Rashford. But then if Haaland hauls…..Such a gamble that TC is.

Saving it for 23 for Haaland, certainly as opposed to this one for him anyway.
I don’t know who to captain in my team for GW20
Haaland would be first choice, but City seem to be in a weird place at the moment.
Mahrez is he the form City player?
Kane can he get anything from Arsenal (H) and City (A), not the way Spurs have been playing.
Rashford in top form like Utd at home to City, then away to poor Palace, has this been served to us on a silver platter?
Is Darwin > Martial for -4 a good idea?
Will Weghorst be available for DGW20 and will he be added to the game in time?
What price do people think he’ll be?
And will he impact Martial’s minutes?

isn’t Weghorst £7.5m?
if you have Rashford I don’t think it’s worth it for a -4, but this does depend on the rest of your team.

I have no Utd in my team, but with the Darwin injury news I am considering Darwin+Andreas > Martial+Rashford for a -8
I have exact funds for these moves.
Or should I get a different striker than Martial (up to £6.6m)?

Also you could do Cancelo > Shaw instead of one of the above, Cancelo is getting booted from everyone’s team it seems.
Thanks for the suggestions, Terminators, but I don’t really want to transfer out any DGW20 players I already have, so will be keeping Hojbjerg and Cancelo.
And if I’m taking a hit, I may as well bring in DGW20 players, as two chances to recoup the cost.
But now I’m thinking maybe just leave as it is and deal with Darwin on an FT next GW.
