And so we are back… and straight into the madness of Christmas week FPL-stylie. We may have a gameweek fewer than normal this time around but it is no less hectic with the small matter of 30 games in 11 days, with another added on for a DGW19 on the 12th.
Now we appreciate that we have just had an extended break with the World Cup but this is such a busy time for many personally, and the gameweeks often literally run into one another, so you will have to fend for yourselves a bit for the next couple of weeks. The deadlines are as follows:
GW17 11am Monday 26th December
GW18 6.15pm Friday 30th December
GW19 4pm Monday 2nd January

Would I be crazy to do White to Robertson in this team?
Reason being I think Liverpool may have turned a corner and now they seem to be attacking more there will be less pressure on the defence thus more chances of a clean sheet, they have better games going forward as well and Robertson is a bit more attacking than White.
I have £2.3m ITB and cannot see any other way to improve my team really, I could upgrade Andreas to a £6.9m MID but then I would have to drop either another MID or a FWD, which I cannot really do, I also don’t want someone good on the bench who gets a load of points when a player in my starting gets nothing, I want to just have my top eleven players playing.
What are the chances of Robertson outscoring White going forward for the rest of the season?
Turned a corner? You obviously didn’t see the Villa game? A better team would’ve put another few goals past us.
I did see the game, I thought Villa played well, the issue Liverpool had was lack of scoring by way of Darwin, he could have had three goals himself and that would have put down Villa and any other team, but with this new signing coming in for Liverpool and maybe Klopp going back to basics to just outscore the other team, will take some pressure off the defence?
Obviously robbo a much better option than white. But there is 2.5m difference in price. Liv cs looking less likely though consistently
I wouldn’t be in a rush to sign a Liverpool defender until our midfield improves. The addition of Gakpo isn’t going to change anything defensively.

That brings White on the pitch for 2 points. Don’t have KDB, thats a worry.
I pray Cancelo stays there, getting Trippier with his 12 points who I was stupid to leave out.

Similar mistake I did for GW1 left Mitro on the bench and 13 points gone.

If Cancello is on the bench he is surely likely to come on just for a run about, Pep has said that the players there were at the world cup were in better shape and fitness levels than the ones that didn’t go, I think KdB will be taken off once the game is won tbh.
Grealish has borrowed the boot from Nunez. …missed so many chances. Somehow Rodri puts one in.
Grealish is so poor, he hasn’t been worth £10m let alone £100m I don’t know what Pep was thinking.
It’s been a bit of a scrappy game, fair play to Leeds but City have been poor all round imo.
Its even more bizarre he prefers grealish to foden or mahrez or Bernardo. Foden way way better.
