Grab, Avoid or Bore off!
Welcome to the another instalment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2016-17 season. As most of you know, every International Break the four horsemen of the Apocalypse…actually three, since I just ask the questions, well…come to think of it, two, since Kop is on vacation. However we weren’t about to do a Bore off one short, so we looked around came up a unanimous name (I asked no one, just decided on him) to replace Kop for this edition. So welcome in replacement Amigo, Gallant Pioneer. He brings legendary knowledge, mostly in other things, but who cares, he will do. Well known for all his work on the site and in particular with the FF247 Community team. So let us get to it and see what the 2 Amigos and the friend of a friend think in this new edition of Bore Off!

I know. Very strange – I don’t know anyone bar the most biased Chelsea fan who rate him yet Chelsea and PSG clearly do!
FPL will rate him…right back to 6.0!
I’m not usually too bias I really rate Luiz I don’t get why he’s criticised so much. And to balance it out Alonso the other Chelsea signing ain’t great
Smash, he is criticised so much because many people believe he is a very poor defender!
Only in England. Same can be said about Pique when he was here. Luiz has found himself in UEFA team of the year a few times. He gets criticised for taking too many risks which is true yet when Stones does the same thing he gets praised for playing the ball out from the back
Not sure how he strengthens Chelsea’s defence at all,was great business when they got 50mill for him.
To be fair Smash, I don’t think Stones is a great defender either and nor do most Evertonians!

What wouldnt then make sense it to loan Cuadrado.
Think I’m going to go Bony Ibrahimovic Benteke to afford Alexis. Can’t have everyone and I would prefer Alexis and Özil instead of one and Agüero.
Aguero is priority over everyone for me. Both Ozil and Sanchez is too much for me but could be an option for next few weeks because Arsenal fixtures are really decent
Arsenal players are priority for me. Unlike others the arsenal players is the sole reason I play FPL

Ideally would like Sanchez n Lukaku but just short. So do I go Lukaku and ozil or Sanchez and a cheaper striker?
Will use my wildcard soon to bring Aguero back.

Hi lewis, I’d be happy enough with the Ozil / Lukaku combo looking at the fixtures for both. I’d take Sanchez given a straight choice but the difference over the course will probably be negligible and often is. You’ll curse yourself when Sanchez has his big weeks but console yourself with the more consistent Ozil returns.
Hi init, cheers for the advice. Tbh ozil Lukaku is my preference as with Sanchez I would be settling for a striker a don’t really want at this point.

I believe I may have picked Sanchez in the above but I’d still be happy with Ozil as a compromise. I don’t like re-reading stuff and I must admit I was still slightly jet lagged when I was forced to write it. At gunpoint. By Mito. That’s how it played out in my mind anyway… I definitely remember saying Sanchez at some point. Between being waterboarded.

I think he is a cracking signing for Everton, massively improves their midfield. As you say, as long as Koeman can keep him motivated, it’ll work out fine.
