Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2017-18 Brutal Honesty
BRUTAL. HONESTY. We are past the half way stage, and have a bit of of a break now, so we thought it pertinent to check back in with a few old hands to see how their seasons are going and what their thoughts are on both the fare so far and how they think things will pan out ahead. Given the title, we have chosen them carefully –
In trap No.1 is Mr Brutal himself. Mito. It’s practically his middle name. If anyone ever needs a ‘pick me up’ during a particularly dire GW then be sure to follow us on twitter… Mito will be on hand to drive that stake right the way through. And then twist it.
In trap No.2 is Mr Honesty. You get what you see with Cookie. He’s been there, seen it and done it all. And fell asleep at most points along the way.
In trap No.3… Oh, hang on, there were only two words in the title. We probably require some insignificant blandness then. Maybe A Lump Of Coal?! Poor old Kop. Once christened, and never twice shy. He accepted the nickname without a blink of an eye, which probably says it all!
And so without any further ado, they are all seated and ready to answer our probing questions. We warmly welcome our guest stars. And a Lump Of Coal.
HEALTH WARNING – The questions are brutal, hopefully the answers will be honest….

Lingard or Pogba ????
Lingard on form (and confidence). Depends on money I guess. Ignoring that, Pogba….
Hey Dreamers I can do Son & Kenny to Lingard & Jones or Son to Pogba what do you reckon???
Hey Silvers. I’m not sure there is a reason to lose Kenny. Son to Pogba of those two choices but wudnt be against holding Son another couple of games either
I have the same dilemma!
Leaning towards Pog-boom atm…
Longterm, makes more sense…
Hard to ignore Lingard’s current form, though…
Yes HL I’m leaning towards Pogba
Great read as ever guys entertaining I’ll read again in morning been in Liverpool all day 😉
Ederson I would have said for most CS?
I “think” United started ridiculously well GP in a defensive unit while of late City would have won I would think. I’d still say DDG but who knows
May be mate.

4/6!
Thanks for the GABO article, you guys!! Between that article and init winding everyone up on the boards it’s put a smile on my face even with the Coutinho news. One thing that really struck me was what Cookie said about the difficulty of concentrating on H2H leagues as well as regular mini-leagues and OR. I’ve found this to be very true this season and feel that trying to do well on both fronts has ended up hurting me in my regular MLs and also my H2H league. Looking at someone else’s team for H2H and then setting up your side/transfers to beat them is often at odds with how you’d play for OR and regular MLs. Last season I was able to be successful with both but I’m really not digging it this year. Think I’m just going to go for OR and my regular leagues and let the chips fall where they may in the H2H match-ups.
Eh?! No idea what you mean mate.
Haha, at this rate Liverpool won’t be able to field 11 players next season!
Don’t worry mate, I’m sure James Milner will stay 😉

Interesting read guys, always get bored when there’s a premier league break, bring on next weekend!
All correct! But somehow we don’t trust you….
I knew all of them but the bonus points (spend way too much time at work looking at fantasy stats) so just went with other people’s guesses for that 😀
