Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2017-18
The International break gives us all the first opportunity to sit back and assess how we have fared so far. For some it’s a time of quiet reflection, for others it’s time for a Wildcard! Either way it’s a nervous time for fantasy managers as they wait and see if their stars return in one piece from their journeys far and wide. This particular break also sees the transfer window close so much can change, players will be added, some will be waved goodbye. We’ve decided to take a bit of a break ourselves for a few days but before we do we have asked a few of our regular writers to reflect on their own seasons so far, their fantasy plans and also their take on the season in general. Between them Cookie, Mito and Kop have had a good degree of success in fantasy games in the past. Now ok, that may be in Fantasy Cycling, Fantasy MLS and Fantasy NFL but it all still counts yeah? Yeah? No?! Well ok, Mito and Cookie have anyway. Kop just seems to enjoy playing these days. But as long as he’s happy, we’re happy, and all that… Joking aside, these lot follow football day in, day out and you’d be hard pressed to find a more knowledgeable or dedicated trio. So, let’s go see how their Fantasy PL seasons are going…

There you have it. Looks thrilled doenst he?
Strange move that
If you think about it, it may be inevitable that he ended up at Liverpool. He did play for Southampton after all.
That’s the only logic I can think of. Not sure where he fits in at Liverpool, but you would think 40mln buys you more than a squad player. Will be an interesting one to watch unfold. Fair play to him for rejecting the bigger salary at Chelsea, should be applauded.
Well, I can’t see him anywhere but the wings. They have Champions League to cope with so this could mean some rotation. Just read a piece on Klopp saying how impressed he was with him coming off the bench in a Dortmund vs Arsenal game in 2014 … So that’s that!
Apparently that man Wilfried is having a medical at Swansea later today.
Should have never left, but I guess he secured his retirement while at City, so not all bad for the big man.
Aurier officially at Spurs what do you guys think will he be a starter or competition for Trippier
Starter, not sure how quickly, but he should be. Aurier is significantly better than Trippier, then again so am I. 😉
Max Stryjek confirmed.
That’s a big signing…he looks tall.
That’s true. Also, I saw him on a merry-go-round with Fraser Forster last week so I can confirm they rotate well together.
Apparently Riyad Mahrez is in Barcelona.
Mahrez has signed for Chelsea.
Ignore that the story was from the sun.
Davide Zappacosta is apparently on his way to Chelsea from Torino. Right footed full back, 4 caps for Italy.
