Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Welcome to our second installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. For those new to the site, it is a simple question and answer segment that covers everything from the serious to the absurd. So why do we call it that? Tradition, is the easy answer as we basically have veered so far off course that it barely has any resemblance to the original format. Thanks to our members for some of the ideas on the questions, we tried to include most of them or some semblance of them. Well enough of the small talk from me, let’s see what the girls have to say about a number of topics ranging from FPL dilemmas to who is cuter?

Epic!! Love this article boys. Thanks for the time and effort.

How is everyone? Kun breaking hearts again?

Here is my new WC team, how is it?
Injury to kun comes as good news, now I can get silva and KDb, maybe downgrade one for Kun later on.
Dilemmas are Walcott or mane or Payet?
And 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 (after kuns injury, I’m leaning towards 352 as there aren’t many decent stickers on offer, but plenty of inform mids)

Argh, Aguero injury has put a real dampener on the past GW.

I’ll probably make changes after the Bou game only now. Would give me time to assess the options… Bony, Lukaku, Martial, Sturridge, Costa etc. Would likely even know how long he is out for this time.

If he only misses Bou and Utd, might even keep him.

Apparently Big Sam is in talks with SAFC, would we be more willing to look at Sunderland defensive coverage if he gets the job?

Yes, it’s a real shame. It’s made worse by the fact that none of the other expensive strikers look like a good investment.

Here’s a question for everyone: Assuming that you wanted to park a big chunk of the Aguero money for a few gws, who would you choose?

      Costa
      Sturridge
      Rooney
      Kane
      Giroud

      • HL [Dr. Hannibal Lecter] says:

        Costa – out of form…
Sturridge-maybe..but will wait to see whether Klopp thinks the same…
        Rooney – nope! + carrying a small injury…
        Kane – unsure…buying a cat in a bag…he’s about to explode…yes….but when ?!?
Giroud – nope..had enough of the Frenchman !

      • Los Machos

I’ll throw in Pelle and Martial. Those two and Sturridge I will be looking at probably.

So a fit Sturridge of those I think.

      • Nosaj says:

Okay, lets go through all them options then –
Costa – Chelsea and himself in shit form. Villa at home tho could get him going.
Sturridge – Tough fixtures, proven FPL scorer getting back into the groove of things, doubt with how Liverpool will play with new manager.
        Rooney – NO!
        Kane – NO!
Giroud – Only if Wally was to get injured.

So, out of those 5, it would be out of Sturridge or Costa, and I would probably go Sturridge. However, I think Pelle and Bony would be better options tho and that it would be worth banking the cash by going with either one of them 2 and going in with a 3-5-2 formation. Just my cents

      • The B says:

Are you serious with the Giroud and Rooney suggestions? Or you just mentioned them because they belong to two top teams?

        • Nosaj says:

I think he just mentioned them because they were in the 5 next most expensive players forwards after Aguero. I’d take Bony, Pelle, Sturridge and even Costa and Martial over those 2 any day

        • The B says:

Havent you learned anything this season than? Price is definitely not something that should influence the points. Marez, Payet, Vardy etc.

Ill happily take Pelle or Ighalo over the players that are mentioned. laugh

        • Exactly, Nosaj! I put them on the list, well, because they help keep the Aguero money in one place. I still remember last season, when Aguero got injured and I spread the money around. Then he came back, I couldn’t find a way to buy him back, and QPR happened.

        • HL [Dr. Hannibal Lecter] says:

          @Los Matchos – sounds logical…yep…
