Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Welcome to our second installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. For those new to the site, it is a simple question and answer segment that covers everything from the serious to the absurd. So why do we call it that? Tradition, is the easy answer as we basically have veered so far off course that it barely has any resemblance to the original format. Thanks to our members for some of the ideas on the questions, we tried to include most of them or some semblance of them. Well enough of the small talk from me, let’s see what the girls have to say about a number of topics ranging from FPL dilemmas to who is cuter?

Shame about Kun, but its even worse if your one of the 133k who have already transferred him in and now have to take a hit to remove him, Im sure many would have taken a hit just to get the boy in so 8 points ouch!

Personally im looking at doing Wanyama and kun out for Pelle and KDB its a 8 point hit but as before many will be taking hits this week. I would then look to w/c to get him back in. the only issue I have is double saints and foxes

The only potential issue I see with that logic is that mostly the top players will have a decent 8th attacker and will choose not to take a hit. So taking an 8 pointer may put you on par with the average team, but it will be a step back against the top teams. Also, we’ve got to remember that if you are tied with someone whoever has made the fewest transfers over the course of the season wins the tie breaker and moves above the other. This may be 2 transfers well saved against those all around you in the rankings. I haven’t researched this “top players not taking hits” theory, so someone else just squash me and tell me how wrong I am smile

All very true Pancho, ive not done the transfers yet, I could see that coming back to bite if its done in haste! without Kun im left without any city attack so personally I need to take a hit or do the moves over two weeks which would be less appealing to get KDB in when they play utd

        Whats your plan Pancho?

          I’ve got no idea smile
Waiting for now. I took a look a straight swap for Costa, but I hate how dirty he plays and so I’ve kinda decided I don’t want him because then I have to celebrate his success. I do think he’s the best straight swap. Like you, Kun is my only City attack. Also, I took a hit already and went Pedro/Gomis to Eriksen/Pelle. Those two just kept dropping and I couldn’t wait any longer. Wanted KdB and Pelle but couldn’t afford it…

People who have brought him in already with an early transfer deserve it. Why? There are some reasons.

      1. Never make early transfers, thats the only rule in FPL (apart from another rule of not buying Jones, ever!)

      2. He costs 13M man. If you can afford a 13M price tag, then surely you can afford inflation that forces you to spend a few more pennies.

      3. International break.

What are the chances of Gabriel keeping his place in the Arsenal first team? He looks good for the price.

u’ll lose more cash while bringing him in..dont make any changes till this weekend.kun can score within 2 minutes of his playtime.even i’m not showing him out..even for two weeks..rest your decision.

Anyone familiar with Klopp’s management style? I know he is an attacking kind of man, but are we expecting Liverpool to create a fortress and not concede goals? Dont think Liverpool have that kind of luxury if Skrtel is there guarding the goal and supporting Miggy.

So whats the verdict? Keep Liverpool defenders?

England XI vs Estonia: Hart; Clyne, Cahill, Smalling, Bertrand; Milner, Lallana, Barkley; Sterling, Kane, Walcott
