Grab, Avoid or Bore off!
Welcome to another installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. As always we will tackle some of the most unimportant questions in FPL and in life in general. The 3 Amigos are back for another round of very difficult questioning and the occasional FPL question. Will Kun come straight in? Is Mertesacker slower than a dead turtle? Does Ozil see better at night? Will Miss Colombia be given a crown for the embarrassment they caused her? WoW! I am dying to see the answers, so let’s get to it and see what our 3 wise men have in store for us.

Not sure where to go or who to bring in and I’m absolutely dying of a hangover so any help appreciated.

Yeah, might as well play the wildcard and clean the squad up a bit. It doesn’t need much, but have a tinker with it and you’ll find a few moves to do. This GW is when i wanted to play mine but it got burned in GW3

Vardy is fit to play and it’s not like City have the best defense. Team looks decent but there are some worries. Main worries are Deulofeu and Sagna, both rotation risk.

I’m doing that. If he doesn’t play tomorrow he will player the next game though. If and when he plays, he has much potential. However, as soon as I need to and can, he’s out for a more settled defender (Kos/Walker).

I sold him two GW’s ago, so yeah, if the FT is lying around then losing him wouldn’t be the worst idea.

Thing is at the moment I am benching Kolarov this GW… so could make the moves now before he drops in price… use the left over money to do Morgan to Creswell the following GW?

I wouldn’t go for a Spurs defender, next 3 GW’s. Spurs have Watford (Ighalo), Leicester (Vardy/Mahrez) and Everton. Stoke has WBA, Norwich and Everton. You think you will use Johnson versus Everton away or Walker versus Watford away.

Whereas a Spurs defenderI doubt I would play in either 3.
Also if its injury free then Morgan to Creswell will work out nicely for me the following GW (yes Pool at home, but after they turn nicely).

Only difference is Johnson has 3 assists to Wollscheid’s 0…

Is it time I sell Vardy for kane? Or do I just replace simpson with a decent def?

Hard one. I kept faith in Vardy and it has paid off. Those 3 could also work though, think people are silly to be dropping Vardy massively. He’s been very good. On that note, he’s not on penalty kicks, neither is Ighalo though. 😉 Just think what Ighalo’s score would be if he was. ^^
Think there is too much money spend on midield, to be honest.

I’d personally play Souare over Walker. Apart from DDG team looks solid;)

United only conceded 3 goals at home this season, and only conceded in 2 of those 7/8 games. Not bad?

Hey Raz, I see we’re both still considering similar moves which tells me I’m at least on the right track! I feel like getting rid of Kolarov might be the smarter move since he’ll be rotated with Clichy and Kompany being injured again doesn’t help the City defense any. Getting in a premium midfielder is just so much more exciting though! I sort of feel like I could get by with my other defenders and deal with Kolarov later, but my first sub Deulofeu was rested last game and has 2 home matches next (even though they’re against Stoke and Spurs). So he could do OK if needed. No idea what to do!

If it helps, I just went with Wally short term, unless Giroud injuries himself. Thinking Kola to Kos later and Wally to Payet.

Hey guys, should I make a transfer or hold? Thinking Kolarov out for an Arsenal defender or maybe Deulofeu out for Theo. Any other moves you’d consider or better ideas? Don’t mind the captain/vice captain choices, those are from last week! Thanks for any help.

Haha, yup. We were talking this morning Raz and I’m still not sure what to do! Kolarov out seems more practical, getting in Theo is more exciting and he’d be a sweet differential. So is Deulofeu though who I’d be selling for him, especially if FPL actually starts awarding him points for what he does on the field.

Koeman seems very confident about his defence after the last game, so I am starting van Dijk. I choose Kola, Alli first Benchie. Not capping Wally but I am capping Ozil. If Wenger rests him, I’ll be forced to kill him. ^_^

I suppose every captain is a risk for rotation this week, but someone brought up the fact that Wenger played Ozil for 90 minutes as evidence that he’d be rested tomorrow. Which seems logical to me. I don’t care if someone gets rested to be honest as I have an OK bench, it’s the 3 minute cameo to waste time that I’m afraid of!
