Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2019-20

With the resumption of the Premier League, and of course FPL, things are finally back to normal, right? Well, not quite! That said, what is normal these days?

Whilst we have all been diligently following government legislation for what feels like an eternity, football of any description feels like a welcome distraction for some, and others an unnecessary risk. Wherever you sit on that debate we respect your opinion. Whether you’re for or against football without fans matters little, that’s how it’s going to be, so let’s just suck it up and get back to why we’re here; FPL.

Maybe you used a Chip for the DGW that never was, blew your Wildcard preparing for fixtures that didn’t happen, or used your weekly FT’s during the lockdown perfecting your team only for everyone to be given unlimited Free Transfers. Dems the breaks kids.

With unlimited Free Transfers, Chips still to play and a whole host of changes to football that will likely have ramifications for our FPL season finale, we thought what better time to turn to our Amigo’s and see how they plan to see out their season in style before riding off into the sunset… ready to come back again a few weeks later.

How is this looking as a first GW30 draft, using unlimited transfers.
still need to find 2 players, with only 0.5m left to spend.

I intend on, more than likely, to use BB for GW30, and more than likely, WC the following gameweek.

    Suggestions please

It’s looking good, hammers, you just need to fill those gaps. 0.5m won’t be enough (obviously) so I suggest you downrade one or two of the big guns to fund a playing GK and defender.

Maybe Pepe and Sterling to Mahrez and Cantwell? Then you should be able to afford a GK and defender. See what Auto pick suggests.

I have no faith in AV def. to get much in the way of points. Am also doing BB but prefer a player with a good match up playing one game. AV could easily end up with 1+1 or 1+0 pts.
Maybe Sterling for Mahrez to help with cash?

bees – agree with the AV defenders…. did think about an Arsenal defender, but not much cop with them either. Will Mahrez play? Will Aguero play?
As playing BB, is it worth bring in a couple of single GW players (as Lord Atlas suggested. Think i just wanted all DGW if i was being honest).
Can I get away with no Pool players for one week (sorry Kralin!!)

You’re showing a TV of 94.3 so I guess you mean 0.5 to upgrade Button and Tanganga rather than only that amount to replace them!

I would do Tarkowski to OConnell which gives you 9.1 to for your last two bench players e.g. Krul and Saiss

I’ve been looking back at posts, convinced somewhere someone was needing to find two players for 0.5.

Well – wish I could help there but you may need to practise some form of occult rites to get that to work.

Tricky, I would imagine, occult rites with social distancing.

One reason I’ve been put off KDB, he’s been on the KFC!

Sterling is a natural athlete and will be very fit. I remember he had a cracking preseason a hattie in the first game and then somehow it all went off. Sterling and KDB, could still be the combo to have, I worry about old glass legs minutes.

Looks like an olympic athlete, doesn’t he? (Maybe shotputter or wrestler, rather than a middle distance runner???)
Has he been supporting Manchester chip shops during lockdown? Rather civic minded of him, but starting to look a bit like Prince Harry atm!!!
Yes – this has just swayed my decision – it’s either Salah or Sterling for me! Sorry Kevin (aka ‘Super Size Me’)!

The less people who have KdB the better, as far as I’m concerned.

Guys I’m really not sure which is the best route to take. Do I use my FH chip or use the unlimited transfers, and then use my BB. I’m happy with my current team for 31 and I know I won’t be able to get them all back by using the wildcard. My current team:

    MLS is back July 8.
Looking at the KO format, I expect they will close the FMLS season and run a new competition for the tournament.

What are Jesus’ chances of starting or playing a decent amount of time in both games?
Doing bench boost but have a real hard time choosing a defender from AV. Have 3 of each of the other doubles and two AV. What kind of points would one get from AV def…?
