Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2019-20
Guess who’s back, back again….
With the fpl season getting closer and closer to starting, it is of course time for Bore Off to also kickoff. I have gathered the three originals, as is tradition for each first edition of the new season. As always a new season brings new hope. Hopefully this article helps a little, but not too much.
Looking back through the first Bore Off from last season, I noticed that the Amigos had many things right. All 3 had Salah as the first person in their team sheet, they were all for the LFC double up in midfield with Mane, which would have worked out well for any manager who did. Cookie and Kop were talking about a back four and in Cookie’s case he was talking up a 5 back. Cookie was ahead of his time! Init had his eye on Milivojevic and Cookie said this “Mili is obviously great for a penalty every time Zaha falls over”. Kop talked about a possible golden boot for Auba and was hopeful that Allison would sign for LFC.
Hopefully they can replicate some of their good calls for this upcoming season, let’s see what they have to say.

Not a lot to quibble about there Constantine. Folks will tell you that Noble is the weaklink but not much about that 5.0 mark without tearing up the rest of the squad.
You like this team GP? Noble is there for his penalty duties. As you said, not many options ther as of now. Someone from the upgraded teams might be of better value. But only time will tell.
Anyways, this way we can have 7 big hitters in the team without worrying much about Aguero’s 5 goal fest(and we not being a part of it). Still which option do you prefer: Kun + Mane or Kane + Salah?

Would ceballos be worth a punt or pepe once transfer is confirmed and depending on fpl price, also if laca is not injured would he be a better option than auba as if pepe does sign he will more than likely be put on the wing with pepe and laca pushed alone upfront?

I though Ceballos was the first one added this summer who I felt was underpriced. That doesn’t mean he’s good in FPL – he still has to settle but he looks a quality acquisition for Arsenal and should suit their style. Pepe will be interesting if it happens both in what his price will be AND how he is classified. If a midfielder, then I expect him to be quite popular.
