Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2021-22

International break means GABO time as always, so let’s get it!

This panel is filled by 3 FF247 vets. Swirly of Quack Creative fame, who I expect to be more concerned with my use of commas and spelling than answering any of the fpl questions. He is joined by the boss, Init, who hates commas and thinks they are overrated. Speaking of hate, we also have the old grouch back, Kop, who I am sure will be his usual pleasant self when answering.

Well, without further ado, let us see what the boys had to say.

Thanks for reading Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!. This article was written by Mito21.

  1. My favorite write up guys…thanks!

    • Hi Bees, your team all ready for next GW?

      • Nope. Not sure what to do…bring in Cancelo/Dias for TAA? Sarr to Raphina (if he starts)? Thinking of Ronaldo to Toney gw9….
Are you all set up? Bringing anyone in?
What would you suggest with this lot?

        • I’m waiting on news on TAA and Lukaku. If both are confirmed out then I’ll play the WC otherwise I’ll probably live with it

        • I am hopeful that Luka will play. Did not seem to be a serious injury. Not sure where things stand with TAA.

        • I am not yet set up. I have TAA & Sarr too.

How many FT do you have? Sell TAA if he looks to miss more than GW8. He is a season keeper for me and Livra can hold the fort. Sarr->Raph for free sounds good if he will be cleared to play.

Ronaldo to cheaper later will let you upgrade Tsimi -> Dias/Cancelo

  2. Thanks for the GABO, lads! Entertaining and informative as always!

I am back with the same question, as a lot have changed since last week (for my particular team).

I created a solid plan to navigate my squad via FTs but there are lots of uncertainties atm, so I started hesitating again. Should I activate my WC, as there are doubts over TAA, Lukaku, Rudiger, Jota and Raphinha, and a don’t have anyone to be called upon from the bench? I’ve already missed on a lot of price changes, as I’d prefer not to use it if possible, but is it necessary now?

    • I have TAA, Lukaku, Rudiger, Jota with Livramento/Brownhill/Amartey on bench.

Just hoping at least 2 will start.

Your case is similar to mine. No need to WC. And those players have lots of time to rest.

      • Cheers LRL. I only have news on Rudiger from the aforementioned. Have you heard any updates on the rest?

      • Yep…also waiting on updates on Luka and TAA (seems that Rudiger will be ok). At least you will know before the match if Jota starts. The only pain living on the US West Coast, I don’t have that option (no chance I am getting up in the middle of the night lol).
        Have 1ft…we will see.

  3. Edit: …anyone to be called upon from the bench, APART FROM SEMEDO*

  4. So, Torres miraculously recovered from the foot injury and played 84 minutes on Sunday against France.
Do we think there is any chance of him starting on Saturday?

  5. Bloody brilliant, GABO is always a must read rofl
