We felt that any usual stand alone article may be somewhat redundant this week, given the ‘obviousness’ of the Spurs DGW; do we really need to tell you that Spurs have a double this week and that Palace blank (that’s the Fixtures article done), or that your captain will 80% be Kane or 20% Son (Capos article done), or that you should probably buy some of the aforementioned (Tips done). No, we don’t. So instead we decided to probe some FPL minds on a range of wider issues, with a small eye on the above topics.

Any changes you would make to the starting lineup or bench order? Auba has malaria so might not play this weekend, however I’m already on a -4 after I sold DCL and Bale for Nacho and Son. Planning on switching Auba to Salah next week, don’t think it’s worth another hit this week as I have cover from the bench.

You think Brighton have much chance of keeping a CS away at Chelsea? I would think it’s more likely Watkins gets something, City’s defence is not as impermeable as before

Well after ignoring things for a few days I was pleasantly surprised to see a GABO. Great read as always! I was less pleased to see two red flags though. Having already burnt my FT on Lingard, is it worth any hits to fix this? I’ve been wanting to lose DCL & Neves for a while anyway! Unfortunately I can’t quite afford DCL to Laca or I’d probably just do that. To get him I’d need to downgrade Neves too and make it a -8. Do I take hits here? Or just ride it out, play Rudiger, and pray nobody gets rested?!

On another note…Everyone and their dog has the same mids and fwd’s…and often 2 of the same def’s! I am 33 pts behind the leader of my mini league. Such a dilemma as I need some alternative but also don’t want to fall further behind. 7 Weeks to go. Any words of wisdom?
