Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10
Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10. We finally got back to some form of normalcy this week with all teams playing. That’s right for the first time since GW6, every team had a match! We were treated to some brilliant scorelines this week with 36 goals scored across the ten fixtures. Liverpool stumbled yet again to a 3-3 draw with Brighton, Arsenal proved London is red with a 3-1 win over Spurs, Leicester and Newcastle both smashed four goals past their opponents, Forest and Fulham. This weekend belonged to City though who might as well just be crowned champions right now after Foden and Haaland both got hattricks with the Norwegian also getting two assists in their 6-3 demolition over town rivals, Man United. Oh how the mighty have fallen!
With all these goals, one would think there would be points aplenty in the H&L offices this week but actually only two people got double digit scores. Hammerfan and Bhandrex Bhajiegoer both got 10 points to top the leaderboard this week so to the first goal scorer we go. Alas, no one correctly predicted Thomas Partey to be the FGS in the 20th minute but one of our leaders was only a single minute off! Bhandrex wins this week as he was slightly nearer than Hammerfan. Congratulations to Bhandrex and hard luck Hammer. Also 3rd place was shared between five people on 9 points with a further seven people back on 8 points so things were certainly tight at the top this week.
And so; Many Congratulations to Bhandrex Bhajiegoer. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.
League Table
THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler:
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5 points
(to clarify this is who you think will score the 1st goal of the entire GW, not just in any game you choose to pick yourself!)
(Points are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.)
Tie-Breaker In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.
The Rules… They are few; 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Friday at 8:00 pm. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following week’s competition article and each week our winner will walk away with an FF247 branded t-shirt! ). So just to recap all you need to do is; – Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each. – Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions) – Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.
Here are the fixtures, best of luck to you all!
