Two weeks’ worth of results to catch up on, so I’ll not waffle on, let’s get into it shall we?

GW9 A three-way tie in third for Ivan, MBD and oisedada who all picked up 9pts. A similar story in second saw No1likesus, SomH3i and Daisy2002 go one better with 10pts. However, this week’s win goes to nathc168 following a last-minute FGS switch up changing Harrison (who was benched) to Aaronson. That changed everything. Aaronson duly netted the first goal of the gameweek and nathc168 (who was the only one to get the FGS) grabbed the extra 5pts which was enough to propel them into first with 13pts. Nice. Very Nice.

GW10 No FGS’ this week but some solid scores all the same. Tekno-kun and Loud Atlas took third with 11pts, sweetbluetoffee and mahelmy take second with 12pts, but it was oisedada who built on last week’s bronze, with this week’s gold; 14pts for the win and a solid effort across the two game weeks. One to watch!

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded prize..

• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).
